I haven't been on the disboards for quite some time so this has probably been talked about already...

How many people use myspace for a source of music?
or
Do you use it for the comments and keeping in touch with friends?

I have had my myspace for about 2 years now and its amazing to see how many people have "jumped on the bandwagon" and subscribed with this journal... I used to use it for the music. But I recently moved about 45 minutes away from my friends and now i find myself addicted to myspace... did i get friend requests? OOO A comment.. haha i admit it im a myspace junkie!
So Drop me a line or something...

i used to have one but my parents found out and made me get off and i was mad because i lovedgoing on there and chatting with friends but they said that there alot of weird and scary people out there so i have to delete mine =[

I've got a myspace. I use it to promote bands and talk to people. I've had mine for about 7 months. maybe 8. not sure. My mom doesn't care about me having one, but she does check it sometimes.

i use it for MUSIC. i do not keep in touch with any of my 17 (hahahah. that's like none) friends. those are just random people, and quite a few are musicians. the only reaosn those people added me is because they saw i liked Hedley and/or they were doing that stupid 'i have more friends than you.'

i don't have any really personal info on it and i don't have pictures of myself. i'm basically on there to get special content from Simple Plan and Hedley.

I have a myspace, put it on friends only viewing since you never know who can be on it. Myspace has gotten a record if you look at the news for online preditors. 2 teens have died and many..well they have run into some BAD people.

A couple of months ago there were a group of cheerleaders who had been suspended and lost alll cheerleading priveleges becasue a coach searched their names and wound up going to their sites and uncovering MANY pictures of the group drinking excessively!

I agree MySpace has gotten alot of people into trouble... But If your careful(not writting your full name, Not writting the school you go to), it can be an excellent way of keeping in touch with someone who lives a couple of hours a way. Predators are everywhere but you shouldnt live your life in fear, just be careful!

Mayspace ruined my life.

I had been getting on it for a while and didn't know about the bad stuff. But after a while Arielfn93's dad email mine that we had an account. Long story short:
Parents find Mysapce. Rachel gets in trouble. Rachel gets account and E MAIL ADRESS deleated. and lost parents trust. That's why i haven't been here in such a long time. Or arielfn93
