Hi all,

I finally got my book designed. When I click Purchase and Next>>, I got I pop up window saying "Cannot connect to commerce server. Please check you network connection". I called the help desk today and was told to disable my antivirus software. I did and still got the same error.

Has any one experienced similar problem?

I'm the OP on this deal and I'm sad to say, I won't be *trying* to use them again. I had to put in my cc information, I was charged (but it dropped off) and then the book wouldn't upload. I got some message on their software about memory. I emailed them, they never replied. I also read about a few others having similar problems. Poor customer service IMO. I spent a lot of time creating a great book full of my son's pictures with captions to give to his father on his birthday and was really dissapointed that it didn't work.

I think I will do one from ofoto.com since they don't require you to download any funky software. It's more expensive, but I hear the quality is better anyway.

I am just curious. Not that it would matter if I cannot get the software to work. Mine only let me put words on the cover. Their technical support seems to be very poor. But I am not willing to give up the book yet. Not after hours of picking the right pictures.

You can put words on each page underneath or next to the picture. Just double click in that space below the pic and it lets you type. HTH!

I actually was able to place the order when I tried it from work! Still have not heard from the support people though. I figured out how to do the notation but did not do any since I did not expect it to work. Oh well, I cannot wait for the book to get in.
