As with any rewards program, the future is never a sure thing. I'm about 60 points away from cashing in for HHonors points. Too bad I just made a major purchase thru MP this morning. I wonder if I'll see those points now?

Good news, though, because of this thread I went and checked out Mypoints.com just to see my points balance and saw that Webcertificates are back!!

I'm going to hope they don't go away. They've been around a long time.

Yes - thank you OP!! I just went to cash out because of this thread and was able to get $35 in webcertificates....I'm glad I looked because I was just going to do Red Lobster since they didn't have webcertificates anymore!

Specifically, I'd been planning on getting Rainforest Gift Cards, but of course when I went to cash out for them the other day it said (and still does) "Temporarily Out of Stock". So I didn't know if I could get webcertificates and then go to the RFC website and buy gift cards.

Just in case, I cashed out today for a webcertificate. The prompt said I would receive it in 2-6 weeks. Will I receive this via email? I'm hoping it's close to the 2 weeks so that I can get a Disney Card, which I will then redeem for Disney Dollars before we leave on Oct 13.

We cashed out Gabby's account for another $10 gas card last night. I will cash our for another gas card on Friday when my other 250 points get credited to my account. So, for this trip, we have $40 in gas cards and $25 in an RFC gift card. We also should have another $10 in Visa Extras gas cards before the trip and I just got selected to do a $75 survey. Yipee! Yes, you can! Wow, that's great that you've got 9 of the $25!!! It takes me a year to get one $25!

It's like an online gift certificate. You can use it just as if it were a real Mastercard. It does have fees if you go over a certain time without using it, just as other gift cards do, but I always use my plastic webcertificate card to buy Disney Dollars right away so I've never had the fees.

You can pay a one-time fee to get the plastic card and then you can use it anywhere!
