What is up with Mypoints changing the point rewards for shopping? Yesterday, Lands' End was 10 points per dollar, today it's 5 points per dollar. What gives? do the values change because it's the weekend? Any theories?
Funny you should mention this--I bought a swimsuit from Lands End a little over a month ago, when Lands End was givng 2 or 3 (I forget which) points per dollar. A month after the purchase, I emailed MyPoints asking that they credit me the points. Instead, they credited me at what Lands End was currently paying, which was 10 points per dollar! (No complaints here, though! )
I know what you mean! I made a purchase from Best Buy when it was 5 points per dollar, well of course they weren't credited so I had to forward my info. I explained that all BB was not 2 points per dollar when I purchased it was 5 points per dollar.
I got a response saying I had to "prove" it was 5 points by providing a Bonus Mail (which I didn't have - it was through the site). Luckily I had accidentally submitted it again, so another person responsed and no questions asked credited me the 5 points per dollar.
I'm through with MyPoints. Their new site is great, but it's still a hassle trying to get points and I don't like the changing point values.
