I have 4245 points. I'm going to use them to for webbies for Disney $'s. I was wanting to let them build up until maybe January (going to DW in March). Is it wise to do this or should I redeem now or does it matter?

You know the old saying "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush?" It's especially true when dealing with RPs.

They raise the points needed to cashout without warning. They fold and disappear into cyberspace. They suddenly go from sending rewards in a timely fashion to taking months. Even MyPoints could take a powder, leaving you high and dry.

Since the highest webbie that MyPoints offers is the $25 webbie for 3500 points, it makes no sense to sit on any points above that amount. Cash in as soon as you can.

Gotta agree with mad4themouse. And sometimes redemption takes longer than we expect! Just remember there are dormancy fees on the webbie, but if you keep adding, you should be fine!
Good luck and keep on earning those points!

I don't know. I had enough for $25 a while ago, but wanted to wait until I got enough for $50 (since I knew it would be right before our trip). I didn't want to have to worry about dormancy fees (I have the plastic card). I figured I had enough Disney Dollars (about $400 from various programs) and wanted the money on my plastic card to use on the trip for non-Disney stuff.

If you think you'll earn up to the 7000 point level by January, then you can probably wait (or cash out for $25 now and wait for the other). But do whatever makes you feel comfortable.
