MyPoints and WebCertificate question

In the past, I've purchased webcertificates with very little wait. On 1/9/04, I purchased a $25 webcertificate and saved my confirmation page so that I could check the status of the order. To my dismay, the confirmation page STILL says the order is in the "Pending Processing" stage. I went to "my account" on the mypoints.com site and checked the status of the 3500 points it takes to purchase the webcertificate, and below the 3500 point debit is a date of 2/29/04. What does this mean?

What does it mean? Probably not much. MyPoints seems to redeem for these in batches once or twice a month. So perhaps you just missed the last batch. Or they're still playing catchup from the Holidays. I've had "far out in the future" dates listed, and then the Webbie shows up the next week. I think they just "hedge their bets" with a date 6-8 weeks in the future. I've never had it take that long for a Webbie, though. Hopefully yours will arrive soon.

Oh good! Thank you! I have just never noticed the dates on the "my account" page before. As you've pointed out, I must have just been fortunate enough to purchase at ideal times in the past, resulting in very little wait on my behalf.
