I have a quick question. I have my package linked and everything shows up fine for my family. I added my sister and my dad. I can see my sister's family and my mom along with their packages. However I can only see my sister's and dad's tickets. I cannot see tickets for my mom anyone else in my sister's family. If and when we become eligible for FP+, will I be able to make the reservations for everyone, even if I can't see their tickets? My concern is that I won't.

do the the other folks have their own accounts or are they 'sub accounts' of your sister or your dad? 2 of my kids are sub accounts 'managed by' my wife. I can't see their tickets- just my wifes.

Alternatively if the other people have their own accounts but dont have the right settings it seems that can happen sometimes. Make sure that on their accounts you are listed as 'family that frequently travels together' AND are allowed 'see all my plans, not just ones we have in common'. That seems to clear it up at times.

What i wonder is - just becasue i can't see their tickets can I make them FP+'s?

My MB arrived in the mail today, tried it on, it is NOT comfy. I have a fairly small and bony wrist and the hard part of the MB is almost exactly the same length as the width of my wrist. This means that I have an awkward shaped thing on that doesn't sit comfortably. I hope my kids aren't as bothered by them as I am!

I, too have small bony wrists, I usually wear child sized bracelets. You can remove the dark grey section of the band to make a smaller fit. I did that & wore the band all day long with no problems.

YES Plenty of times and choices available

This is not a complete list...
HS - Between ToT and RR
MK - Inside Info at Town Square, Beside Philharmagic in Fantasyland
That's all I have for now. Didn't need to find them in Epcot or AK

:thumbsup2We have been everyday at every park this week, Truly a fastpassapallooza! In fact there are so many short return times, that we could have survuved quite well without FP+.

Hmmmm, maybe. We don't have hoppers this trip, but we are going to Epcot this morning and MNSSHP tonight, I am going to try making FP+ at a kiosk inside MK after 4pm and see if I can book 3 more FP+ and will report tomorrow. It isn't quite the same thing as a hopper and I know there have been reports of people booking extra FP+ online when they linked their MNSSHP tix, but I can't seem to get that done.

OP here, for now purple is a rumour from a CM who seemed to be in the know about when each resort was going live with MB. He did have a very formal looking rollout list. As with all rumours, we shall believe it when we see hard evidence.

If you don't have hoppers how can you do Epcot in the morning & MNSSHP in the MK at night? Do you get another ticket for MK?

MNSSHP is a separate ticket event. You can enter the park as early as 4pm with a party ticket. No park hopping is needed.

We are seasonal annual passholders and we participated in MagicBand/Fastpass+ while staying at Pop last week. We have another trip at the end of September planned for F&W. We are staying a the Dolphin which we did not book through the WDW website. I tried last week to see if I could book Fastpass+ and got the message that Fastpass+ was not available for my dates. I tried again today and was able to book FastPasses for both of our days there. So, it is starting to look like a slow roll out of the program. My dates are for after my pass expires and I have not renewed yet (but I will;) and it still allowed me to book Fastpasses. (I guess Disney knows they have me hooked!)

I did the survey on the Magicbands today. The asked a lot of questions but did not really give the opportunity to give an opinion. However, they did ask if we visited more than one park a day and if we felt 3 fastpasses per day were enough.

While 3 is probably enough for us in all the parks except for MK, if we are limited to just one park. However I would love to see them allow fastpass+ in more than one park a day and increase the number to reflect that.

How was it that you were able to book Fastpasses if the system does not have your reservation? Did it somehow get the info from Dolphin? What steps did you take to be able to book?

Have you set up friends and family for each person. I did this prior, and as soon as I could make FP choices I could see everyone who was going at the same time as I was. However, prior, I did link my account and my DD account together by sending her an invitation and she accepted. once that was done I can see all of her family. I just finished making FP and was able to make them for myself and her and her family.

I can see everyone and add them to all my ADRs and plans. I see all my family's tickets. My sister has her own account and no one else in her family has an account. I see her ticket under "My Reservations", but not her DH or kids. My dad has his own account, my mom does not. I see my dad's ticket, but not my mom's. I have made sure that both my sister and dad shared all people of their accounts.

Because they already have MagicBands and park admission (Season AP) linked to MDE, they are able to make FP+ selections without a resort reservation.

thats exactly what i see. The 'sub account's tickets are not visible to anyone but their 'master account'

I'm not too concerned, becasue in my case becasue my wife is the only one in the group with 'sub accounts' so since all the other accounts are stand alone she can see ALL the tickets on her account. If you are really concerned than one suggestion is to set up your mom with her own account. Then others will be able to see her tickets and at least your sister will see everyone's tickets. So and if nothing else your sister will be able to do everything for everyone.

I assume that we should be alright even though we can't see the other tickets (in fact I'm not even sure why we ever need to see other people's tickets unless they are sub accounts of our own). We dont check in till December though so it will be some time before i get a chance to find out for sure.

Hope I can explain this (only 1 cup of coffee so far this AM). When I went to friends and family I saw a link to add "friends" of friends. It was in a drop down menu. So you can choose your family member that you're linked to and use the drop down menu to see who's on her friends/family list and add them. I don't think I was dreaming it, but will take another look and come back and update it once I log onto MDE. I spent the entire day booking FP+ for my 2+ week trip next month and have a little MDE burn out. I did just what you wanted to do and booked FP for us and another family and had access to all of the other family's family. I could see some friends who are going to be there the same time, but they have not linked our account to theirs yet, so I could not make any FP for them.

BTW -- are you doing this on your computer or phone? I've had better success using the computer to do this, but the phone is faster.

I had this same issue, here is what fixed it for me.

I assume that you are linked with the other account. Go to your Friends & Family section of MDE. The default tab there is for you to Enter Your Friend's Name by typing it in. There should be another tab Invite Through a Mutual Friend. Click that tab. There should be a dropdown box to select all of your friends with accounts. Choose the one that has the sub accounts managed by it. You should then see their sub accounts. Select them and invite. The other account may need to accept that invitation. Then the sub-accounts should be listed as YOUR friends and family too.

The sub accounts showed up in my f&f list immediately, but I had to log out/log back in to get them to be available for selection in making reservations.

Hope it works for everyone with this issue as well as it did for me.

Using the website, when I click on Family and Friends, I see the following:
Angela (sister) Plan: Add and view all
James (nephew) Managed by Angela
Karlee (niece) Managed by Angela
Patrick (BIL) Managed by Angela
James (dad) Plan: Add and view all
Norma (mom) Managed by James
Allison (DD) Plan: Add and view all
Angelo(DH) You manage this account.
Daniel (DS) Plan: Add and view all

When I go to My Reservations, under tickets, I only see tickets for the following people: Me, DH, DD, DS, Angela (sister), James (dad).

When my sister logs in, she sees tickets for everyone in her family. And when my dad logs in he sees tickets for both him and my mom.

Has there been any solution to the problem linking tickets bought from UT? I saw a lot about it in the earlier parts of this thread but never saw that anyone solved the problem. I spent yesterday morning on the phone with Disney and expect to spend a good chunk of today. I have three phone numbers that I'm going to try today. Help please if you can I want to sign up for FP+ too. Trip the last week in October. Bands have been customized. 8 days until they are sent. I have a n AP but can't link my friends UT paper ticket so we can work on FP+. The last person I spoke with never heard of an ID like she has. :confused3 I've never had problems like this with Disney.:scared::scared1:

From everything I have read up to this point there is I problem with the paper tickets from UT, so you should be able to link them and have then show up under reservations allowing you to do FP+

Have you tried to scan the tickets in people have reported scanning works for the paper tickets

The issue is with the plastic RFID plastic tickets which only partially "link" and It seems to have IT resolve this issue takes 3 weeks.

I have only seen 1 person report that their tickets have been fixed by IT

Last I heard there was no problem with the old "paper" tickets. They go under the "old tickets" section to be entered. However, some have had better luck using the smartphone app to scan the barcode rather than entering by hand.

The main problem right now is with the new RFID cards, with the MDX system apparently not recognizing them as valid.

We have the seasonal AP and are thinking of going down to the Halloween Party. We've never been and it looks like so much fun! I know the party is a separate ticket, but if we go, we would also use our AP to get in earlier in the day and go to a park before we leave the next morning. My concern is this:

if we make a room only reservation for October 27th, with the issues with the magic bands/tickets/ FP+ going on, will it screw up our vacation planned the first of December?

I have seen where people with split stays or multiple reservations are having the most trouble. I was thinking we could make the reservation under my husband's name using a different MDE account, but then our tickets would get dragged onto the separate account. Right?

I know these are silly problems and I feel very blessed to have them! Our December trip is the most important one, and I would rather skip the quick October trip than have to worry/stress/spend time at GS during our December vacation. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

I don't think there is any reason to assume it would mess up a future reservation. December isn't even on the radar for this stuff yet. Yes, they are still ironing out things, but they are working through them.

Ours seems to have gotten all screwed up when we split a stay and added a reservation. We today received our 4th package of Magicbands, LOL! My PAP still isn't showing correctly ( it is reversed with nephew's ticket #). Husband's ticket was there but now it is gone (he still has a PAP voucher at this point)

Some think the bands will all work interchangeably but I am very skeptical and anticipate hours spent on property ( x3 for each hotel check in) fixing this mess.

One of the things I can't help wondering is why a company with such notoriously bad IT systems would undertake such a sophisticated IT project. There are basic things that months later still don't work- why can't I book all dining through my iPad app? Why do I have to call for cc guaranty restaurants? And, honestly, the way you book Fastpasses in the system is so UN user- friendly. Forces the three at a time, forces the time slot, then 4 steps to change the time for each individual ride experience. Really, really slow.

And the new issues I have with old KTTW cards that were NEVER linked to tickets and are from old stays now appearing as active tickets in MDE. Beyond frustrating and confusing.

Heads up (don't know if anyone else has mentioned it yet). I received a survey from Disney yesterday about the MDE, MBs and FP+ process. Great opportunity to provide feedback!
