My Windows are OPEN!!

For the first time since May. It's only 68 degrees outside so at last the house is getting an airing out.

The weather people are saying this was one of the hottest summers ever. Except for about 5 days or so, it really didn't bother me which was a pleasant surprise. Coming from Massachusetts I expected the time period from May to September to be unbearable.

Now we've got 7 months of fantastic weather coming and I am happy, happy, happy!!!

I have not closed mine yet. It has not gone below zero yet and I like it kind of cool in my apt anyway. I have not turned the heat on yet either. I think the coolest it has been is 4C overnight.

I would have ours open if not for our stupid allergies! The weather has really been quite nice her.

here in IL weve had our windows open the last couple of days-the fresh air has been wonderful

I have not opened a window yet here. Too hot/humid for me.

Ours were open in the dorm for a long time. But it's closed right now, because, surprise surprise, it's pouring here. It's in the 50's right now, but it's hotter than heck in this dorm building. I'd love to open the window, but our desks are lined up against it so that would destroy all our computer stuff.
