Thank Goodness for my Tower!
Hi everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been on the DIS much lately, things are crazy right now. I swear, I haven't had a calm moment in over a week, today is the first day that I haven't really had to do anything, so I pretty much did nothing! It was fantastic! I'm hoping to get caught up on everyone's TR's soon, I don't want to get too far behind!
Monday, 12/2
After another exhausting evening in Disney, my alarm was going off the next morning before I even knew what was happening! I jumped up, got ready, dragged Brandon out of bed and made him basically sleepwalk to the car to get to Hollywood Studios for rope drop. How we wasted so much time is beyond me, because we got there at exactly 9, just when they were starting to let people in! I was aggravated...I knew we should have gotten in line at 8:30 or so to be more towards the front, so I figured our chances of getting FP's for Toy Story were slim...
Still, we madly dashed over to
Pixar Place to try our luck...only to be disappointed to see a HUGE line for FP's AND a return time of 3:15. Soooo, sadly, no TSM for us this trip. We knew we wouldn't be in the park that late, so we didn't bother. And the standby line was ridiculous, so again, we didn't bother.
This was kind of when I got a bit disheartened on this trip. I was trying to keep my spirits up, be optimistic about the crowds, the Magic Bands, everything, but now, not being able to do one of the things we really loved just got on my nerves. I'm not good with change, and it seemed like everything at Disney was changing, and I was not ok with it. Even Brandon, who claims he doesn't really like TSM was upset, because we ALWAYS get to DHS at rope drop and ride at least twice.

I was also getting upset because I knew we only had today and the next day in Disney, and then it was time to go home already...well, as my hero, Scarlett O'Hara said, I won't think about that now, I'll think about that tomorrow.
One good thing about getting upset in Disney is...you can't stay upset for too long! If you can't do something you REALLY wanted to do, there's always 10 other things to do to make you happy! And just on the other side of the park was my favorite thing in life...the Tower of Terror!
Luckily, when we got there, the wait time wasn't long at all, so we went right on! And i was able to FINALLY get a picture I've been trying to get for years, but could never time it right...
Looking at that picture makes me wish I was there right now! I mean, I guess I say that about a lot of my pictures, but I'm missing Disney terribly right now...
When the ride was over, we got right back in line again and went on a second time! Sooo much fun! I completely forgot about being upset before and was back in my "I'm in Disney so nothing can ever bother me again" mood!
After our second ride, Brandon was getting hungry, and I probably was too, so it was time to say goodbye to my Tower and find some breakfast.
Goodbye my friend! See you soon, I hope!
We decided to walk over to the Writer's Stop for breakfast, because everything there is always yummy, and we weren't really starving at that point, so why not?
It's so cute in there, but I'm sad they took out the seating. I loved that you could just hang out in there at one of those tables in the back for a little while, but sadly, they're gone. The Christmas displays looked adorable, though!
I got what I always get, a cheese danish, and Brandon got the carrot cake cookie.
I love the carrot cake cookie, don't get me wrong, but it's just waayy too heavy in the morning. We sat outside on the little wall near Sci Fi and ate and tried to figure out what we were going to do the rest of the day. I knew where I wanted to end our night, but the rest of the day was kind of up in the air, which was awesome. One good thing about a short, almost ADR-less trip, being able to go wherever you want, whenever you want! I love planning my Disney trips, but sometimes it's nice to have freedom too!

That's part of the reason I'm so anti-FP+...I have a hard enough time with ADR's, how am I going to possibly schedule FP's in advance? Ugh.
When we finished eating, there was another thing I had to do at DHS, the drawing class! I love it so much, I'm terrible at drawing, but I love drawing a Disney character and getting to take it home!
We went to the Animation building, and we were just in time to get into the next class! We grabbed some seats and I waited anxiously to find out who we were drawing...
Mike Wazowski.
Really? Sigh. I know a lot of you would have probably been thrilled with drawing him but...I haven't seen Monster's Inc., and I don't really plan to...I tried watching it once and I don't know, I just wasn't interested. So to me, he's just some ugly one eyed thing. At least the blue fluffy guy is cute.

But Mike is just weird looking and I wasn't really interested in drawing him...but I did, and it came out terrible! That's what happens when you don't put effort in, I guess!
Feel free to laugh, I won't be offended!

It's pretty bad!
I was wishing we had time to do another class, but sadly, it was time to leave the park to do something else!
I hate leaving parks when I know I'll still be in Disney for another day or two, but I won't be back to that specific park, it's so hard to say goodbye!
Sometimes I want to walk out slowly and cry, but most of the time, I just rush out. Just get to the exit, turn around, take it all in, and walk out. It's harsh, but if I stay, I'll probably never leave.
(Imagine never having to leave Disney? Dream come true!

)
See ya later, Hollywood Studios!
As sad as I was to leave, I was excited for what where we were going next! So we hopped in the car and were off to our next destination!
Up next...resort hopping!
