I wanted to keep the food part separate, so I could make your mouths water for your upcoming cruises!
Saturday in Parrot Cay I had the hot crab newburg for an appetizer, mixed greens with roma tomatoes for salad, and the ribs for the main course. Creme Brulee cheesecake for dessert.
Sunday at Lumieres I had the shrimp medley appetizer, tossed field greens for salad, the garlic roasted beef tenderloin (HIGHLY recommended by all) and --I'd been waiting a year for it--the grand marnier souffle with chocolate sauce. To die for!!!!
Monday for formal night in Animators Palate I had the lobster and shrimp wrapper appetizer (YUM), the confetti tomato salad, the grilled sirloin, and the NY cheesecake w/ strawberry.
Tuesday, back in Parrot Cay, soft shell crab tempura for an appetizer, greek salad, prime rib, and tiramisu. I didn't really like the tiramisu, so I got a Mickey bar from the kids' menu as a backup
.
Wednesday for mexical night I had the crab and lobster fritter for an appetizer, the taco salad, the grilled shrimp main course, and white chocolate cheesecake.
Thursday was the Captains gala--AWESOME--I had the grilled shrimp appetizer, mushroom soup (great), lobster (drool), and the warm chocolate lava cake--and after that they tried to bring me cheesecake for my BDay the upcoming week, but have you ever seen "MEaning of Life" where the guy explodes? That's how I felt! I didn't eat a bite of the cheesecake.
Friday I had 2 appetizers--chicken tenders and the seafood medley--and no salad. For the main course I had the beef tenderloin and I had celebration cake for dessert.
Every meal someone of our party of 11 had to try 2 main courses, or appetizers, or desserts. Or if we didn't Ronald would bring us something "just to try". The kids were happy with Macaroni, chicken tenders, chocolate milk, smoothies, etc. DD#1 tended to get adult meals. DD#2 was getting adult salads and kids meals. DS could care less about adult food.
It was all very wonderful and if we do try the EAstern in 2006, I hope they still have that grand marnier souffle. WOW!
