Depending how far out you are you should be able to cancel and rebook at the new price.

what part of your package went down? Package prices are set WELL in advance, so unless you apply some type of discount code it should not change.

Nothing to be hurt by trying, but that amount sounds like when you repriced it you dropped the insurance...
