My WDW nightmare!

I think I'm a little worried about our trip in Sept. Last night I had a dream that we were at the end of the trip and hadn't seen or done anything. We missed all the big rides like the mountains, Dumbo, ToT, everything. We also missed Fantasmic and Illuminations! The reason... we were too busy trying to get to all of our dining ADRs.

When I told dh this morning, he smiled and suggested it was a vision. Thanks a lot. Of course, now I'm wanting to rethink my dinner plans!

I know this is silly, but I knew ya'll would understand!

LOL! I have variations on that nightmare quite often. Usually, in my nightmare we spend so much time getting to the park--kids lose their shoes, we have to go off-property to Wal-Mart and get stuck in traffic, car breaks down, etc.--that when we finally get to the park, it is closing.
Sometimes I have a nightmare that we go to Disneyland or WDW and when we arrive we find that all the rides are being rehabbed and all they have is some junky Ferris wheels and midway games as temporary replacements.

DH always laughs so hard when I tell him about these nightmares!

Only us Disney addicts - usually in my nightmares, I know that I'm at Disney, but nothing looks like Disney. Rides are strange and different and we usually are just wandering around all over the place wasting time...so I can relate to your nightmares!!! But the way I look at it is even if some part of my nightmares came true - at least I'm wasting time in Disney instead of stuck somewhere else!!

I have had similar dreams. I don't call them nightmares because after all, I was at WDW

Hahahaa!! I love Micca's post. Even an imperfect trip to Walt Disney World, is, after all, a trip to Walt Disney World!

Have had them before every trip so far. The first ones I thought I was going crazy. I just remember screaming at my family "head to the left, most people go right!!!!!" That is the only thing I could remember. I didn't have any ADR conf#'s, we were wearing shoes that belonged on badshoe's site, trying to enter the park at like 15 mins before closing etc.

I just had my first one for our Sept. trip the other night so I am right on schedule. Mine was the exact opposite of yours too-I dreamt our vacation was over but I couldn't remember having eaten at any of the great WDW restaurants I love so much. I kept saying "But I KNOW I'd remember 'Ohana" . I think it means you are planning a great trip for your family! (Perhaps, obsessing and overplanning a great trip for your family but who am I to judge? I make spreadsheets with schedules that time each ride so..... )

You'll be fine. Last night DH dreamed I got a ......oh, I probably can't type what I want to here, so I'll just say, he dreamed I got cosmetic surgery to my chest area.
