My Very First Trip

I'm 32. If I bounce down Main Street squeaking like a 5 year old, will they give me funny looks? Seriously. I'm still more than a year out from my first trip and I already feel like I'm going to burst from excitement!

Tell me about your first view of the castle. I want to know how it feels!!

I cannot count how many times I've been in the last 20 years, but every time I go, it feels like the first time and I'm 5 years old again!

AAAAHHHHH!!! Thanks Snykymom! I was needing to read this! b/c I know I am going to completely loose the complex 'grown-up' attitude of my 34 years of life once I step there in 10 days (and counting!)

Dont' think that you will stop bouncing down Main Street in future just because you have done it once. I think you only stop bouncing when your body is too old to bounce - not because you don't want to

I have to keep reminding myself to act my age ..... and then think, "After all the money I pay to get here, why should I?"

Have fun! And don't forget to bounce into Main Street Bakery for a cinnamon roll

There are many things that make me realize I am back home in Disney. It's an incremental buildup. Getting the trip paid off, counting down to the day. Packing, Getting on the plane, the mini-monorail, the Magical Express, check-in, diving onto my nice hotel bed, taking Disney transportation to the parks.... but when I turn the bend at Main Street and see Cinderella's castle in all it's glory, It CLICKS. You know? I'm HOME! I'M IN DISNEY WORLD!!!

Another big one is watching Wishes. I always tear up a little. Make sure to watch it when you go. No one will mind you bouncing down Main Street (or anywhere else in WDW for that matter). We ALL bounce there It's one of the great things about Disney. Most of the people you meet are as happy as you are. All that positive energy is one of the reasons Disney is such a happy place

I do the same thing! My husband tells me I'm a dork, but I can't help it! Every time I think about how excited our little boy is going to be, I cry some more!
