My very first trip report - final thoughts

Thanks to everyone for the encouraging posts to my trip reports. We were skeptical if the Discovery Magic package would be worth it, but after totalling up all of our meals that we used Magical Wishes on, it came to $741.10 and we knew we had gotten our monies worth. Other wise we would have overdosed on hamburgers and chicken strips every day.
Ordering the package from Gifts of a Lifetime with Shelley's Guest of Honor Badge, Mickey Ears, Pin Lanyard, Autograph Book, Fat Pen, and EPCOT Passport kit, was the best idea. It saved alot of time searching for that stuff and Shelley got called by her name constantly due to wearing her GOH badge. Alot of characters personalized their autographs to her since they could see her name! Shelley also loved opening that gift package right before we left.
Caribbean Beach Resort was wonderful. I am extremely picky and can't think of one single negative thing to say. A wonderful resort. We will stay there again next time.
The cutbacks were not apparent to me. There were CMs everywhere. The only thing I noticed was certain shows no longer ran every day.
Get the birthday button if you are celebrating a birthday. When we boarded Splash Mtn on Shelley's birthday, they made a Happy Birthday announcement to her and since she was also wearing her name tag, they new her name too! Shelley thought it was magic!
I can't wait for our next trip!

I'm glad to hear that the Discovery Magic Plan was worth it. Have thought about using it so maybe I'll look more into it next time. We loved CB too, the last time we stayed there.
