My very first PTR - Can you hear the music? ~ We're off tomorrow & it's MAYHEM here!

OK, here is the latest version of my much-changed Garden Grocer order.

My plan is to eat some breakfast-type stuff in the room for most of our mornings and I wanted to make sure we have a few snacks for in the evenings. We won't have a fridge (hence the cooler - I MUST have my coffee creamer for my morning coffee! LOL), so I have tried to really limit the stuff that has to be refrigerated. I should also mention that the boys and I are really not huge breakfast eaters; Grumpy likes a bit of breakfast early, but he's the only one lol The breakfast I have booked early at TH will be OK though, because we'll all have been awake for an hour, have showered, etc. and will be ready for a good meal by that point.

Also, I need to avoid anything with artificial colour because Tigger is allergic to all of them except for caramel colour (by allergic, I mean he turns into a maniac if he ingests anything with artificial colour - so it's better for everyone if he doesn't have any lol)

Any opinions, additions/deletions, comments are welcome!

1 x Pepperidge Farm Mini Bagels Brown Sugar Cinnamon 12CT 17oz. PKG
2 x Bananas Green (Turning) 1EA
2 x Bananas Yellow 1EA
2 x Apples Fuji 1EA

With this list, my subtotal is US$40.04 (the minimum delivery order is US$40). I could just bring some of this stuff (hand wipes, hand sanitizer, etc.) if you all have some ideas for what to add...

Thanks! :flower3:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICKEY!!!!!!!!! :bday:party:

Nice list you have going! We were going to do delivery last year and I forgot to order so we stopped at WalMart when we got in. Ugh, that is NOT my favorite store! I can't wait to hear how the delivery goes. I've always wondered about it.

We will have to select a time and place to meet. By the way, I will be the one waving like a fool at Chef's!:laughing:

:woohoo::banana:happy birthday mickey!!:banana::woohoo:

your list looks good. we way over ordered on ours...so i would double check your list just to be sure you'll be using all of the items you are buying.

:scared1::scared1:I forgot to add creamer to mine. I have to have either Sugar free French Vanilla or Hazlenut creamer every morning or I become the Wicked Queen. I do like a little coffee with my creamer.

Your list looks great. The only thing I can think that you may want to add is if you plan on doing any laundry you could get some detergent. Probably cheaper than buying it at the resort and easier than bringing it from home.

Thanks for the bday wishes for Mickey

We used Garden Grocer last time - it was so easy and convenient! We checked in really early on arrival day, the room wasn't ready, so we put our luggage in hotel storage and went to DTD. When we returned in the afternoon to get into our room, the GG order was already in the room. Totally painless delivery - didn't even have to be there LOL I highly recommend using them :thumbsup2

Yes, we have to figure it out! I know I posted somewhere about meeting up at Epcot (but I can't remember which PTR/TR I posted it on LOL) - there was one day when you, Jenn and I were all in Epcot on the same day :thumbsup2

:woohoo::banana:happy birthday mickey!!:banana::woohoo:

Thanks for the bday wishes for Mickey, Jordan! I *think* we'll use everything, but I know what you mean - we over-ordered last year too

You and me both, Minnie - I must have the Int'l Delight Creamer in my coffee or someone's gonna get hurt :rotfl:

I have been keeping an eye out for travel size laundry detergent, but so far I haven't been able to find any. I'll keep looking though :goodvibes I'm only planning on doing two loads of laundry (which is what I did last trip, which was almost 2 days longer than this trip), so I'm bringing Bounce sheets and hopefully the laundry soap in our checked luggage. Last time, it cost me a good chunk of change just to do two loads of laundry at the hotel (I think it was a total of about US$14.00!).

Thanks all, keep those comments coming - your input is much appreciated! :cheer2:

Awesome baseball news! Our season isn't over until the end of July. Tell Tigger congrats on being the "big hitter"! HOW FUN!

Your list looks good. We ate in the room most mornings as well, but I just packed everything in an extra suitcase and brought it along. Maybe I'll consider Garden Grocer for next time. (especially if Southwest starts charging for that second checked bag!)

The list sounds goods. Are you not cereal eaters? Those are always good to snack on too. It's tough when you don't have a fridge but the ice usually keeps things cool in the cooler.
We're trying Garden Grocer this year for the first time and really trying hard not to over order. We're switching resorts too so have to move the food too.

Congrats on the birthday and bronze.

We're finishing up soccer this week.

I know it's over ,but Happy Birthday To Mickey!!!! We have 2 bdays at our house this week too, our big party weekend is coming up!!!! Also getting new bikes!!!!!

We left alot for the Mousekeepers...I wonder if they can keep stuff especially if it's unopened..?:confused3

I was worried that I may have ordered too much beer. But DH assures me he will make sure it is gone. :lmao: What a great guy, doing that just for me. :rotfl:

I saw these and thought of you, maybe they'll save a bit of space in the suitcase? I haven't tried them yet, but they look interesting...

Great list, all that's only $40...pretty good! :thumbsup2 I usuallly bring peanut butter crackers or some kind of pre-packaged snack for my DS and DH to munch on in the parks. Otherwise your list looks a lot like mine ;)

Ok...off to add the crackers to the spreadsheet before I forget :rotfl2:

Am I the only one having MAJOR problems getting into the DIS site and, once in, being unable to read and/or post because the site freezes? It's making me :headache:!
**********************************************************

Happy Birthday Mickey (belated)! Also, your list for food looks great!

Thanks Jenn! :cheer2:

So, what do you think about meeting up on the day we're all in Epcot?

Great list Lisa! Sounds like you got everything under control.

Thanks, Queen! Under control? Not a chance :lmao:

Thanks, I did tell him! :flower3:

We'll have to pay for EVERY bag going to MCO (US$15 each!), but we get one free checked bag each coming back - which means packing a suitcase into one of our suitcases for the return trip

The list sounds goods. Are you not cereal eaters? Those are always good to snack on too. It's tough when you don't have a fridge but the ice usually keeps things cool in the cooler.

Congrats on the birthday and bronze.

We're finishing up soccer this week.

The only one of us that regularly eats cereal is Mickey (Nestle aka "chocolate porn pops" (yes, that says "porn pops" :rotfl:)) - we'll be bringing some of that cereal in our checked luggage for him. Dh usually has fruit and yogurt for breakfast and neither Tigger nor I really eat breakfast until mid-morning. :confused3

Thanks for the congrats! :flower3: I hope the soccer season ends well! :goodvibes

I know it's over ,but Happy Birthday To Mickey!!!! We have 2 bdays at our house this week too, our big party weekend is coming up!!!! Also getting new bikes!!!!!

Thank you! :flower3: Ooooh, a big double Happy Birthday to your sweeties too! :woohoo::cheer2: Mickey just got his new bike yesterday - he's absolutely thrilled with it!

We left alot for the Mousekeepers...I wonder if they can keep stuff especially if it's unopened..?:confused3

I don't see why not :confused3 We had some stuff left at the end of our trip last time (bottled water, unopened snack bags of chips, glow bracelets, etc.), so I left them at the door of one of the cool moms I'd met a few times at the resort (I did tell her first, so she didn't wonder where the box came from LOL).

I was worried that I may have ordered too much beer. But DH assures me he will make sure it is gone. :lmao: What a great guy, doing that just for me. :rotfl:

Yep, your dh is a giver :lmao: I should delete a couple of things and add beer for my sweetie, shouldn't I?! Hmmm.... :scratchin

Hi and :welcome:, great to have you here! Yes, these boys with their unnatural affection for too-short pants - what is a mom to do?! :rotfl2:

Thanks for thinking of me! Those are very cool, but surprise, surprise, not available in Canada  We're going across the line next month though, we can stop at Wal-Mart, Target or whatever to get those if they have 'em :upsidedow

Great list, all that's only $40...pretty good! :thumbsup2 I usuallly bring peanut butter crackers or some kind of pre-packaged snack for my DS and DH to munch on in the parks. Otherwise your list looks a lot like mine ;)

Yep, not bad for US$40, hey? I was thinking of packing a few snack-type things (we could pick stuff up on the way to the airport, so no border-crossing issues with bringing food into the US kwim?) - but my boys don't like granola bars, snack crackers, etc. Any other ideas for snack-type stuff?

Believe it or not. I left 1/2 a sixer....

:sad2::sad2::sad2:

My DH would be so ashamed. Jordan that is wasteful. Leave the food, detergent, water-but not the BEER!! Its almost criminal. Once again I am picturing you at the police station with us all singing "Its a small world" trying to free you.

Am I the only one having MAJOR problems getting into the DIS site and, once in, being unable to read and/or post because the site freezes? It's making me :headache:!

Nope, not the only one. It happens to me all the time. Sometimes it loads nice and quick other times it takes forever and times out! :headache:
