Thank you and :welcome: I know how you feel - it's hard to start one! :scared1: So far, so good though - I'm having fun

Its her Dad's cabin. I will have to ask. I know its better not to visit in the winter where ever it is, cause she said the pipes freeze up in the winter. I have a terrible memory, not sure where, but I am going to ask her.

It's probably in Ontario and not BC then :lmao:

First off, GREAT pics! Love that last one with the grinch! almost makes me wanna try US/IOA! Now I am going to put the days we may be in the same places based on our preliminary, pre-knowing sept. hours plans!

OK, I've finished last week's HS reporting, so I thought I should share our tentative plans for our vacation. I can't wait to finalize our ADRs for our awesome TA - yay!!!

So, input? Advice? Whatever? :rotfl:

Boy, i thought we had more days together :(

We love Universal, too! :thumbsup2 The RotM is one of our favorite rides -- period. So fun! We haven't been since December 2007, and it was so dead. We had our own car for most rides. It was a blast!

Oh, and I absolutely adore that picture w/ your boys, DH and the Grinch. His reaction is hilarious!

You should try it - so much fun! Oh man, that grinch was sooooo funny! :lmao:

I'm not worried yet - this could seriously all change when the hours come out kwim?

It took me a while to figure out what RotM is - I don't "do" motion simulators, so that one was a no-go for me, but dh and our boys  it! Seriously, my boys are insane - ds#1's favourite ride at US/IOA was the Hulk Coaster (my dh's favourite too) and ds#2's favourite ride there was Jurassic Park! :rotfl2:

Isn't that one the best?! It really makes me giggle (ds#1, not so much giggling though LOL).

Hey there!

Popped over as soon as I realized you were doing a Pre-Trippie. Now I get to learn all about you and your family.

I use Christine at Fairytale destinations too. Well, once I didn't. I thought I could work my own way around the discounts by sticking with CAA and using their discount. I found out later there were some other discount codes available and I know she could have easily found me one so in the end I was sorry I didn't go through her. I've learnt my lesson.

I think you've put a lot of thought into your itinerary. I like that you have a rest arrival day (expecially due to your funky flight times). It sounds like your plans are realistic and doable.

Looking forward to hearing all about your trip and the lead up to it. Thanks for letting us live vicariously through you. Do me one favor okay? Be sure to include a melt down or two for me. Even if it's a description of the family beside you. Oh yeah, and another thing (boy I'm getting a little demanding here aren't I?) warnings before any major castle sightings are good too. Gives me time to get my kleenex on hand.

Hope you had a good Victoria Day Weekend!

Hi Diamond! :wave2:

Oh yes, dh and I  Christine and her agency - no way would we ever plan a Disney vacation without her. No way, no way, nuh huh :upsidedow

Thanks, I did put a lot of time into it (not sure about thought though ). Of course, the whole thing will probably change when the hours ever come out, but the arrival rest day will stay (that worked really well for us last trip).

OK, here goes:
(1) Oh, I'll bet I can do that, no problem :rotfl2:
(2) Yep :goodvibes

Hope you had a good Victoria Day Weekend!

Yes, we did thanks. I hope you and my other fellow canucks did too!

I'm holding out hope right along with you! :thumbsup2 Oh, I put last year's September hours in the Excel sheet, so they'll probably change (but the planner in me needed to put SOMETHING :lmao:)

I actually liked the 180 day ADR thing. I miss it. I guess I will get used to the 90 day timing.

I really want to try US/IOA. I gave DS a choice this trip between that and a water park. He wanted to try a water park. Maybe next time we can do US/IOA.

We only had one ADR last time, so honestly I don't know what I'm missing :rotfl2:

It really was a lot of fun - more of a thrill ride park iykwim? We can't wait until Harry Potter opens though - we'll have to take a trip just for that, no doubt :lmao:

Can you get transportation from MCO to Universal? We do not like to get a rental car and try to find where we are going, thats why we love Disney we just hop on the bus and like magic we get there.

I think that Mears has some sort of WDW-US bus service, but it's cheaper to just rent a car, really :upsidedow

So, I've been working really hard at home today :rolleyes1 Well, maybe not

After my boys and I thoroughly checked out our new Rosetta Stone French program (which is awesome!), I set them up with some math to do and told them I had some work to do on the computer. Well, between you and me, not so much work to do as "not work" to do :rotfl2:

I went to the Disney website and printed off the available on-site restaurant menus (which are so cool!). They don't have that many menus available, but those they do have look just like the actual restaurant menus :thumbsup2 Here's the website:
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/

Then I filed them in my lime green "no, honey, it's not my Disney binder, it's just a binder that I put stuff in sometimes" binder in the restaurant menu section :lmao: Nope, no planning for me :rolleyes1

I also went to the Atlanta airport site to print off the airport information. Dh is just a teeny bit antsy about flying into and out of ATL, due to it's massive size and the horror stories others have been so kind as to share with him  True, the airport has 6 concourses and we don't have a clue which gate/concourse our flight will arrive from and depart from - but hey, life's an adventure (and I now have maps!) :rotfl:

Personally, I'm looking forward to hearing that Southern accent again! :woohoo: Hmmmm.... we'll be landing at 5:54am and departing (for MCO!!!) at 7:55am - so I'm thinking I could get some grits and relive a tiny portion of the "Thelma & Louse" trip my best friend and I took many moons ago (you know, way fun but without the violence and driving off a cliff thing). Ooooh, maybe they'll have pralines there! I'm going to make use of that two hour layover :yay:
