HELLO DIS-ers!!! (and Happy Holidays!!!) Today was a very exciting day as we hit the mark in our Disney fund that allowed us to purchase our......

AIRFARE!!!! hey-oooo!!!



We will be purchasing tomorrow!! This may seem like quite a small feat..and nothing to dance about- but since we are saving literally penny-by-penny it is quite exciting for us! Now we can work to pay off our balance little by little as opposed to saving almost exclusively for airfare. WE ARE HYPE!!

As stressful as this saving is sometimes it has taught me and Joey and especially Ryan quite a bit about saving and wants versus needs. (Disney being a need)

As for the approaching joyous occasion of Christmas, we are all very excited about Santa Claus comming - or we are most of the time - Ryan thinks he needs to give away his "old" toys to get the new ones! WE NEVER said that to him. hahah.

I made you a present. I got a new photo editing software and I am trying to learn it. No worries if you don't like it (lol) but I thought it was cute. I can change the text if you do want to use it for anything. (use iron on transfers for a bag or a shirt, etc.)

So excited you're getting airfare! We have to wait until Southwest opens their fares up - not too many places are selling Oct fares yet I think. Who are you flying?

I don't know .. it was Joe's responsibility and he did it through his Travel Agent friend. We probably should have waited to see if we could do a cheaper airline maybe but we were terrified we'd pay the trip off and then not be able to get airfare.. lol.

Good news is we are flying out early morning and flying back at 7 30 so we have almost two full days on the 1st and 5th.

8am ressies it is girls!!

Hmmm maybe it's just SW and Jet Blue that are lagging on their Oct fares. Don't worry - I'm so jealous you already have the airfare!! Sounds like you got some great flights too!!

Yay for getting your airfare! I think I'm going to use part of my tax refund to pay for ours. Continental's fares are published but they're quite high right now and the times are awful. I'm waiting for JetBlue to publish theres. I'd rather fly with them anyway!

I believe we are flying U.S. -- incase you were still wondering. Its all paid off!!! WOOHOO...

Christmas is over ... and that means we spent the day at IKEA getting new storage for all the new toys. We are also looking forward to New Years (I'm working...Ryan's hanging out with my mom) and just waiting waiting and waiting for Disney!!

We went to Disney on Ice last night- my boyfriend Matt's mom got us tickets so me and Ryan and Matthew went. It was a blast and Ry loved it!! Tangled and the last 10 minutes when Mulan and Belle (two of his other favorites) came out were his favorite parts.

Joey and I talked to the Travel Agent today and got our remaining balance update of a little over $3,000 which we are extremely happy with now that airfare is paid off!! Still excited about that!! ALMOST there ... ALMOST!!!! hah​

~ We will be there from 9/30 - 10/6 (so the same dates as yall!)
~ We are toying with the idea of staying at AoA AND...
~ My son, Jake, turns 5 years old on Sept 23 and this is his big 5th Birthday Trip!
