Hey everyone! Sorry its been a while since i last wrote
well here we go! When I last wrote, my brother was sick and we didn't know how the chips would fall, well they fell really well! lol he was back to 100% health the next day! However, we of course took it a bit slower the next day with a later start. That day we headed over to Epcot to tour the world showcase which never ceases to astound me at how accurate and beautiful the countries are
This time at the showcase we tried something new that they had to offer. Throughout our trip so far we've been seeing many kids walking around Epcot with these phones that were all the same. These phones also played the kim possible theme song! This made us wonder how we could get one and what they were even for
We found out that it is a new activity you can do throughout the world showcase! Its called Kim Possible's World Showcase Adventure! And its one of the coolest things disney has come up with in a while!
To accept your mission you must head to a team possible sign up station. These are located at innoventions at the front of park past the international gateway that leads you to the United Kingdom with the bridge to France on your right. There will be signs that say "Now recruiting Team Possible Agents". You simply go into the little kiosk and say you would like to sign up. They give you a phone and Wade takes it from there and gives you instructions and assignments! There are 7 different adventures you can go on in 7 different countries. in these adventures you help kim possible save the world by going on a secret mission and there are various interactive things that pop out or light up or even...well i wont give too much away. Bottom line if you have about a half hour to kill or more and you're looking for an fun adventure that will allow you to finally be a SpyKid lol hit this up!
Later that day we headed over to the contemporary resort for the DVC member event "Vacation As You Wish". The show itself was pretty cheesy but gave much insight into the many options you have as a DVC member. But I thought it was pretty well done but still very cheesy lol and just when i thought that was it the back doors of the room opened to reveal a party with tons of disney characters! Mickey, Minnie, and all the gang were out on the dance floor waiting! There were photo opportunities and free dessert bars and it was just wonderful! I did the cupid shuffle with chip and dale! and the cha cha slide with goofy and pluto! After that we went on our exclusive tour of the Bay Lake Tower, the new DVC building at the contemporary. This is what I looked like when i saw the rooms
they were gorgeous and my whole family thought the same way. This prompted us to go for a more private tour of a one bedroom and studio and to talk with a DVC agent. After must consideration my parents bought into the new DVC resort!!!!!
We now own at Bay Lake Tower! And honestly it is the most amazing hotel, so classy and modern and elegant. It also comes with an exclusive roof top lounge that you need to be a DVC member to have admittance to! As well as a gorgeous pool that is very exclusive too! I'm beyond excited!!! After that, we had a wonderful dinner at Prime Time Cafe!
Yesterday we went to the Magic Kingdom and did a few rides, however it was very crowded and we soon decided to head back to the hotel to take a swim. But we saw the new hall of presidents while we were there and the whole show has been rehabbed and is better than ever!!!!
That night we went to Trail's End Buffet then headed to the Magic Kingdom to preview the fireworks. But then quickly turned around because of the crowds. We decided to watch from the contemporary parking lot, just as good
Today we went to the Animal Kingdom where I met up with a friend to ride Everest which is always AMAZING! However today it made me super dizzy and I don't know why, I think perhaps I was low on water and it was also pretty hot out. After that we dined at Yak and Yeti which is such a great place to eat if you're into asian cuisine! My brother and I then went on Kali River...TWICE! We had special fastpasses from the DVC people for taking a tour! And we got....DRENCHED!
I was soaked to the bone and it was insane! After that we went back to our hotel and headed to our main pool! We were soon cleared from the pool because of lightning
but then we played air hockey in the community hall
we then headed to Chef Mickey's for dinner and watched fireworks from the parking lot! It was a great fourth of July and I hope you all had a great one too
