My Tower of Terror experience - for those who don't understand the fear

I feel the same as you do about ToT. I did it once and that was once too many. Had it been just one drop, I think I'd have been fine, but by the time I came off I was panicky and shaking. I drank some water and got an ice cream. I was pretty well good to go by the time my ice cream was gone.

I happily wait at the exit for the kid. She loves it! I've never been one to allow myself to be talked into doing things I know I will not enjoy. I've been working on my fear of heights for a while now. It has gotten a lot better, but there are still things I know I can't handle. She's learned what I won't go on as well and doesn't even ask anymore. Used to be I couldn't do Splash either, but it's no big deal now as long as I don't have to sit up front. lol

The kid can't grasp why I don't like to do row 1 on Soarin' though. She has no fear. hehe

My husband refuses to ride ToT. He does not like that dropping sensation. He also won't go on Mission Space at WDW. I have full respect for him telling me this and for him waiting for me while I go on the rides. Sometimes we skip those rides just so he won't have to wait for me.

I'm sorry you had such a bad time on ToT! I'm going to DCA soon, but I don't think I'll ride it this time. Maybe in a couple of years. Still, it's good to see both perspectives of the ride; people who loved it, and people who didn't.
