thought it would be fun for us all to share some of our favorites and MUST DO items. helpful for newbies planning to go and fun for us to remember the highlight of recent trips!

It's A Small World...DD2 really enjoyed this
Mickey Mouse ice cream bars
Roast beef at Prime Time cafe in Disney Studios
Grand Marnier Orange Slush Epcot
Play fountains with shooting water in Epcot
Tower of Terror
Meeting Mickey Mouse
World of Disney store at DTD
Story time in Japan with the two inch little boy!
The Nemo ride
Soarin

Things I'd skip:
Any and all major events...Illuminations, parades, Fantasmic. the crowds are nuts and the waiting never ends.:sad2:
Anything with a line over 25 minutes, if you have small kids. Just not worth it!

Hey,
Where in WI are you from?

Nice idea, but as you can see, many members get very detailed oriented with their Trip Reports.

I agree about the long waits for parades. I don't have any small kids, so I'll find a place where no one else waits and go to that area when the parade starts. I usually go on the bridge by Adventure Land, or in front of the Hall of Presidents. No one waits there.

My must dos when at WDW are definitely the things that I can't enjoy at the much closer-to-home Dland - and the classics that I loved as a kid.
Classics - Carousel of Progress, PeopleMover (whatever they call it now - it will always be the PeopleMover to me), Country Bear Jamboree, Swiss Family Treehouse...
And then there's all that I can't get at Dland--Hall of Presidents, Epcot's countries (must do American pavillion especially the Voices of Liberty), Test Track, Living with the Land (seriously - I love the greenhouse part of that little boat ride), Rockin Roller Coaster, and the Great Movie Ride (I love the movie clips before and at the end!).
And then there's the shows--I love Fantasmic (Dland's version is my favorite), Illuminations, MK fireworks and parades, Festival of the Lion King and whatever musical is at AK, and the performers around the world in Epcot.

That's a long list--no wonder on this trip we just finished there are a few on my 'must-do' that didn't get done... good thing there's always a next time. :thumbsup2

Oh Mari...i'm from the hayward area. way up north!

Favorites:

Toy Story Mania - Hollywood Studios - Girls LOVED that ride!!
Rock N Rollercoaster - Hollywood Studios
Soarin - Epcot
Turtle Talk with Crush - Epcot

Just to name a few, there where a lot more.
