First, I want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who has done phenomenal custom work for me so far and for all of the amazing disigners out there with libraries of excellent work for beginners like myself to access and utilize.

Working off of a multi-page google spreadsheet, I have been planning daily surprises for my kids, DS5 and DD2.5, and their friend BFF5. My inspiration came from here and here primarily, but I wanted to make my own version that was for my slightly younger kids and their individual interests.

What I hope to post over the next few weeks- scratch that- MONTHS would be

-Our planners
-Our Countdown Calendar
-Our Departure Day Box
-Kids Travel Kits
-4 days worth of MK Adventure Kits
-3 days worth of EP Adventure Kits
-2 Days worth of AK Adventure Kits
-1 HS Adventure kit
-Going Home Kit

Each one has at least 2 Disigns. Some have MANY more. I won't post them in sequential order, as I will be building them as I purchase materials and print items. I'll do all my laminating and binding on one day, so anything like that will be posted later.

I welcome ideas and suggestions and most of all, advice. If you think I should add something, please let me know.

I could not have done this without YOUR help, so THANK YOU!!!

If I give the wrong credit or can't remember the right Disigner, PLEASE LET ME KNOW and I will assign proper credit, because you deserve it!

SO here is my first completed project...

The Departure Day Box

I'm off of work on that day, but the kids have school, so when they arrive home, a box will be sitting on the porch "delivered" by the mail carrier, from Mickey. Our Countdown Calendar will have let them know before school that it's the right day, and they will already know that we are leaving for an overnight drive as soon as DH gets home.

This is the box:

Sorry the last one is blurry. Inside the box are:
PJ Pals for each kid
AAA Triptiks and Maps
A "We're going to the WDW Resort" window cling
Several new DVDs of movies they haven't seen yet
Letters from Mickey (Shadowryter)
The card on the outside of the box, I believe, is from JTandDolly or RustManFan- please correct me on that one.

When DH gets home, he will "find" the kids' filled backpacks with notes from Tinkerbell. I haven't had those notes made yet, so suggestions are welcome.

I'll post the contents of other kits soon, and add pictures into the posts as they are completed.

More to thank soon- including Mel, Penny, Kimberly, Pat, and Marty, and others too!

Best,
Autumn

Just dropping by to say WOW everything looks wonderful!:yay:
You are a great mom and everyone is going to love all the special things you've made for them.

Have Fun Planning
Hugs Mel:hug:

Aw! You give me too much credit. Thanks though! Once I print the cards you made for me, I should be able to get a few more packages in order to post.

I was wanting to know where you found the going to WDW window cling? I have never seen one.

Paula- it was at the Disney Store website under Parks Authentic. I was looking to replace the little Disney stick figure vinyl girl that a gas station attendant in NJ accidentally scraped off my back window. They were out of kids, but they had those, and it was on sale. I think it's normally $7.95.

Subscribing! Everthing sounds wonderful! I can't wait to see everything :cool1: What are "Adventure kits"?

Hopefully I get some more pictures up tomorrow. I think I now have everything for at least 2 of the days we are there.

My "adventure kits" will be a package (or pile) of gifts related to the park we are visiting each day. Sometime the gift will appear in the afternoon after we return for the day to prepare for the next day. Sometimes they will be found in the morning.

For a taste-
DS's AK kit will be ready soon- it has a safari hat, binoculars, a field guide, a scavenger hunt, and a few other goodies.

I just have a few more requests out and items to customize and print. I'll need all of your help to decide how to package things!

Still working on...
-tags for backpacks
-kosher tags for meals
-we are we going letters
-door hangers (just thought off this)
-drawstring backs
-pressed penny supplies
-binding autograph books, scavenger hunts, and passports
-grand welcome decor

Still need to buy...
-a bigger backpack for DS
-disposable cameras
-matching shirts (just one day)
-ordered an atlas and an animal book that haven't arrived yet

More details soon!

another THANKS :cheer2: to the DISIGNERS!
