We were there the EXACT same time that you were (we arrived one day after you) ****** Oops.... edited to add: we were there from 2/13 - 2/20 (in FEB, not March.... sorry) ****** (but the cheerleaders were there when we were there too) and we LOVED our stay at CBR.Razor Roman said:I too will not be staying at CBR again.
The facilities are just too small for such a big resort. We were there 3/12-3/20 while the Cheerleading competition was going on, and the resort was at capacity. 3 mornings in a row I gave up on trying to eat breakfast or even get a cup of coffee with my refillable mug because the food court was so packed you couldn't breathe. The people I dealt with were nice enough, and we were impressed with how pretty the lake and how nice the beaches were, but the tightness of the food court, combined with the 15 minute walk to get to it, along with the packed buses made me long for my last trip to the All-Stars.
The Food court may have been a little busy in the morning, but I didn't think it was that bad (there were always plenty of places to sit).
We were in Jamaica 46 which is just across the bridge from the food court so it wasn't too bad of a walk. I am assuming you were in one of the buildings that are far away from the food court?
OMG!! I thought the crusty poop smear on our toilet (not our poop!!) was bad but roaches....jeez!! BTW we requested mousekeeping a few times to clean it and they never did...I had to...so gross!!
amiaca, lovely walk across the bridge. I agree the main pool is crowded and full of unruly kids, so we just used the quiet pools, sometimes in the middle of the day there weren;t 20 people in a large pool, often less then that, plus plenty of pool side lounging.
