* My "SURPRISE" Anniversary trip, Hubby Planned it All * Photopass & Video w/ Music*

GREAT pictures of Wishes! On a side note I was wondering if you did send your roses off? When my grandmother passed away, my cousin, sister and I had flower petals from her funeral sent off and made into a rosery for my grandfather. We also each had a bracelet made. They all turned out beautiful, I highly recommend it! :thumbsup2

That is so cool that you had jewelry made from roses. I've never heard of anyone who has done this. I've had them in a bag and they have just now gotten completely dried. I'll probably send them in the next week or so.

Just wanted to stop in to say I hope to have an update....the last one......in a day or two. I've been holding off because I'm waiting on my Photopass CD. I was in a Photopass share and it ended last weekend so I hope to get it soon.

Well I don't have my Photopass CD yet but I really need to finish this up. So I thought I'd just go ahead and do the last installmenet. Then I may post some of the Photopass pics as soon as I get the CD. :thumbsup2

The Last Day
We got up and headed downstairs for breakfast at Boma's.

We were seated right away. I went and tried to take pics of the different "pods" at the buffet, but there were too many people in my way. I'll just have to tell you what they had.
If you've eaten at Boma's, you know they have a different selection of food than normal restaurants. Well, breakfast there is pretty normal. I only saw 2 (maybe 3) African dishes. They had the basics.....eggs, breakfast meats, a huge selection of fruit, delicious pastries & an omelet bar. This was a great meal and we left there stuffed. Before we paid, our server brought out a little present. YUM!!! Chocolate for breakfast. :goodvibes

We went and checked out and headed to Animal Kingdom for a little while. We rode a few rides, including Dinosaur......my first time. Here's our redneck pic.

We alo saw the Finding Nemo show. I was so surprised at how much I loved it. I really thought being able to see the puppeteers would somehow take away from the show. But it didn't. I loved it and can't wait for my kids to see it in June. Then we just walked around and took in the senery. We found some cute photo ops.

Guess who we spotted next......DeVine. She was just coming out.

We decided to get something to eat for lunch before we left. I used our last snack credit and got chicken fried rice. It was a huge container of it and tasted great. :)

DH paid OOP and got breadsticks at Pizzafari.

We took a few Photopass pictures on the way out and headed back to AKL to wait on our Magical Express bus.

This was the best anniversary I could have ever hoped for and I want to thank my husband for all the work he did planning it. My husband is not a Dis'er but he does lurk and he loves reading my TR. So, I know he'll be reading this.
Thank you Tracey!!! I love you

What a beautiful, romantic trip!!! :lovestruc

Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

aww Wendy what a great TR!!!!! I really enjoyed it.

Love the treat you got at Bomas!! Looked so good. Devine is awesome! love her. You got a great picture of her.

Awww what a great and truly romantical trip!! I'm so happy you were able to have such a great experience with your husband and celebrate your happy union!!

Great trip report!

Great report, I need to encourage my husband to read the report to get idea's for our 25th anniversary trip in 2010.

I just stumbled across your TR this morning and must say I loved reading all of it. My husband and I just returned from a trip for our 1st anniversary and I loved reliving some of your anniversary memories too.

Your husband did an amazing job planning everything, he kind of sounds like my hubby who does the Disney thing because he knows how much I love it. I would be so impressed if he ever figured out how to make a dining reservation let alone plan an entire trip. From the roses and the gift basket to all the dining plans, you really had a great trip.

I'm glad you were able to try Yachtsman and Ohanas' (the second is a must on every trip for us!) Sorry you were disappointed at CRT. I've never been at breakfast, but I must say the dinner we did there the night after our wedding was really delicious although for the cost I would take Yachtsman any day!

Great report and TR, Wendy! Your DH outdid himself on this and you guys seem like a great couple! Congrats again on your anniversary and thanks again for sharing it with us all!!:goodvibes

Wow, you are a lucky lady. I'm only up to page 14 and I am really enjoying your TR. I think it is great that your DH surprised you with the trip and all the details along the way.

Brilliant report Wendy, i have really enjoyed reading, thanks for sharing :thumbsup2

Just wanted to thank everyone for the kind words. :flower3: I had a great time writing my first TR. It made the trip seem like it lasted a little bit longer. :rotfl: We do have something to look forward to this weekend though. We going to see Disney On Ice. I'm super excited. Then in June we're heading back down to WDW for a week. Our dates are June 20-27 at POFQ.

I've been waiting on my Photopass CD and I finally received it yesterday. I was so excited to see the pictures and get to work on my video. I got it finished this morning. So without further adieu......HERE IT IS!!!!

EDIT: I made this video using Windows Movie Maker. It's a program that came on our computer. It's pretty easy to understand. Trust me, I'm not very computer savy but even I can do this. If anyone has any questions, I would be happy to try to walk you through it. Just PM me.

Wendy,
That video is so cool - I will have to learn how to do that! Like a need another thing to keep me on the computer - huh?!

Thanks for sharing your trip with me/us. It looks like you and your hubby had the best time ever!
