We boarded the WONDERful ship on Sunday, March 18, 2007.
We floated in heaven for four days, with grins superglued to our faces.
They dragged us off the ship kicking and screaming like babies.
Back in reality, life really s%$&ks.
Will pout until another visit to heaven is booked.

I'm sure you can all relate!

Hey -
Nice TR...

Would love to hear more... have any pictures??? What was your favorite part of the trip? Did you like Pirates night? What was the best desert???

Did you get the Mickey bars from Room Service??

Oh and Taris... Can't WAIT until your TR!!! Have a great time!!!

Taris...the sun and the temperature was warm. we did not need our sweaters on excursions, but definitely needed them on the ship. We did the Discover Atlantis excursion in Nassau, so we didn't hit the beach there. The water at CC was cold at first, but we ended up snorkeling and playing for probably more than 2 hours over the course of the day and it was great, seemed to warm up once we were in. The sun was strong, be sure to reapply the sunscreen.

Tink...we didn't get the mickey bars from room service, had enough at dinner! But we did order the awesome giant chocolate chip cookies that we LOVE. Anyone reading this should be sure not to miss them!

I do have lots of great pictures, but can't seem to get photobucket to cooperate...ugh!

I can't wait to order the cookies!

Hurry up with those pictures - can't wait to see them!

Tink...Pirate night was fun. it was our second time attending it, and it's much like the sail away party so I don't know if I'll rush to do it again, especially on such a short cruise. Although my older daughter missed it last year so I was glad she got to go this time, she loved it. It just seems like it takes forever for Mickey to save the day. Also, it was cute that on Pirate Night they put chocolate pirate coins on your pillow for turndown service.

My favorite dessert was the dessert selection at Palo brunch. if you get a chance to do brunch, don't miss it. We've done Palo high tea, brunch and dinner and our choice now is always brunch. We love it.

I'll try now to post a picture of the Flying Dutchman at CC:

Sorry, I'm trying to post the picture, not just a link to the picture.
I don't know why I'm having trouble...any help out there???

I personally haven't done it yet...

There is a photography section on the main Dis board... let me see if I can also search through the DCL pic of the day... people post how to do it there...

I've posted pics before on other threads...they come out GIANT sized...now I'm only getting the link to post...oh, bother!

Trying again...pic of the ship and the Flying Dutchman

Love the super short report!
Mine won't be that succinct....I love to talk, and I like to write even more!!! All I need is the time to get it done!
Great pics, too. We tried to get back to see Mike Super when he was in Wavebands, the kids LOVED him..unfortunately time did not permit.

We actually went through all the trouble of worrying to book Palo Brunch, rushing on the ship to do it, (and did do it)..but by the time Weds. came around we were SO exhausted we had to cancel the ressies just to sleep in and relax some , and not have to get up and get dressed (which was such a big ordeal in our little tiny cat 11 room)...so unfortunately that is something else that will have to wait for next time.

And the chocolate chip cookies were good...but....(I'm gonna get flamed for this I know) not as good as I was expecting. Both nights we got them, they were a little overdone..crunchy..and not much chocolate, though what was in there was CHUNKS not chips. (just weren't enough of them) The oatmeal raisin ones, though were soft and chewy....so at least it wasn't too dissapointing. (and that's coming from a chocolate girl, not a raisin girl!) But then again, I spent each minute of that four days not at all hungry, in fact filled to the gorge...so I guess that has to be taken into account. I'll tell you what- in that four days I gained 9 - yes- NINE pounds. My husband gained seven. By the last two days, none of my shorts would button. It was ridiculous. (Thankfully it must have been water weight as I have already dropped all but one pound- whew!)

Nenner,
sorry about your cookies! You'll have to book another cruise just to give them another chance! Ours were soft and chewy and we were not disappointed.

ohhhhhh I just started my you know what (ok...diet!!!) 2 days ago and now I WANT COOKIES!!!!

That's a great idea!
I am totally gonna *HAVE* to do that!!!!:thumbsup2
