My Storybook Moment

So has anyone heard about this My Storybook Moment that Disney has out there. You get declared a princess for the day, with a tiara and a pink sash. Then you get your picture taken with a princess and your proclamation signed by said princess.

I thought this would be great for my daughter so I jumped over the the disney parks blog to find this experience is only $128.95!!!!

I'm sorry Disney but that is ridiculous!! A Dollar store tiara and sash. A piece of paper with a scribble on it. A princess picture. $128.95!

I haven't heard of this. Is this related to BBB? I know there you do get a sash and a tiara (as part of the outfit usually). You can also get make-up and nails as part of the package. You usually don't get to meet a princess as part of the photo op. This sounds really pricy considering anyone can get their picture taken with a princess for the price of admission. I would just get my buy my own tiara and sash for probably 1/4 of the cost.

I looked into what the OP was talking about and here's what I found.

First, it's now $148, and it's a simple Disney Floral package. It ONLY includes a tiara, sash, bag, and a "proclamation". You can find it here. It does NOT include the meet and greet with a princess. You have to take the proclamation and take it to a regular princess meet and greet in the parks in order to get it signed. So it's not really an "experience"- just a typical Disney Floral gift which encourages you to go into the park and meet the princess during normal park hours in a normal park setting. Not as grandiose as I assumed it was. Whomp-whomp.

Wait a minute. For $143, you get a plastic tiara, a tote bag, a printed "proclamation", and a sash?

Then you have to pay for park admission, make a FP for a meet & greet or an ADR and pay for dinner and get a princess to sign it.

People will pay for this?

I will check it out for our next visit! We haven't ever done BBB our 9 year old didn't want to. She thought the dresses looked scratchy. She would love this though.
