Thanks for sharing your experience with the spa raffle. It's disappointed to hear that your winnings had restrictions and you couldn't use it as you had pleased.

Good to know. That is one of my,pet peeves! A prize isn't a prize if you have to pay something! I just "won" a dress, only pay shipping. I informed them that is wrong and bait and switch. If you have to pay any fee, you haven't won a prize! It's a scam to get people on the site...they hike up S&H to cover their costs of the free item.

I had planned on going to the spa raffle, but am sure I can find a better way to use my time.

I love most things on the ship, but definitely not the spa. First, the prices are really unreasonable. Then there was always high pressure to buy extra things, then they added the required tip regardless of the quality of service, and now a prize that's not really a prize. The spa seems cut from the same fabric as the art auctions of old. See you at Palo, the coffee shop and lounges!

Thanks for the info. I've never gone to the spa presentation & raffle, and I was thinking I should check it out next time. I think I'll skip it after all.

I didn't realize that either. I go to the raffle every time. My husband won the shave and loved it. He gave her a tip but he didn't have too. I guess the other prizes are truly free so still worth it to go for me and if I win the 100.00 I might have to treat myself!
