My sons are too big for sofa bed...? help...

I appreciate all the help. I discussed it with the boys...they agreed that taking one of the Aero beds along on the plane would be fine. I just hope this thing doesn't weigh over 50#'s....yikes! They charge extra if it does.

To Dumbo71...we just won't have enough points for a 2 bedroom. A one bedroom worked just fine for us last year anyhow. We are breaking up our points so we can get 2 trips in next year. thanks!

good day to all,
Esmerelda :)

Have a great trip Esmerelda. The Aero bed should work fine. You are also within the occupancy limits with the one bedroom so no need to bump up. 2 trips is better than one.

Happy travels.

Our Aerobed comes in it's own bag - with a drawstring and a handle. We have always checked it, by itself in the bag it came in, along with the other luggage. We put a luggage tag on the handle. Never had a problem. No need to make a suitcase heavier... unless you've maxed out on the number of bags allowed.

Ours did also Doc...but my only concern is how the folks at that baggage area throw things all around. I have had more luggage damaged when flying its been unbelievable. We had a garment bag damaged so bad on a cruise ship years ago...I didn't even recognize it was mine...:( They had to buy us a new one befoe we debarked the ship! yikes....

I don't want my Aero bed destroyed....yours was really ok with just its bag it came in...? (when flying I mean)

Esmerelda :)

You could always put it in its own case too. I keep ours in a small duffel for travel. I keep the sheets in with it so it is all together. Even with that, I doubt it weighs over 20 pounds.

I agree with you on the luggage damage so I would pack it in a small suitcase or duffel.
