We were trick or treating last night with the kids. At one house that always goes all out every year had a little haunted path. The girls said no way and turned around but the baby (16m) and I went back to see. At the end of the path was a creature zombie thingy sitting there. At first I figured it was a real person ready to jump out and scare kids. But it was too still and was just sitting there. Then I figured he was sitting there because he didn't want to scare the baby. 2 kids came up behind and finally the zombie jumped up and yelled boo. The 2 kids behind me jumped, screamed and ran. The baby jumped too but then he yelled BOO back at the zombie... it was to funny. So then we are leaving and the baby yells BYE BYE to the zombie, whoever the zombie was couldn't stay in character and laughed and said bye.
Another funny thing that happened, there was a house that had Steelers banners and a decked out minivan and all sorts of Steelers stuff out front of their house. So my 4 year old dd goes up and knocks on the door, they open the door and she says "TRICK OR TREAT BRONCOS RULE!!!" I gasped but at least the people laughed... that's my girl, we are major Bronco fans.
