My son has passed his black belt**updated with photos**

Thanks everyone, and welcome back Carol.

You would think he would be a tough little guy but we've just come back from watching Spiderman 3 and he was crying at the end. He's an emotional person just like his mum! I'm going to post a picture next weekend as he is being presented with his black belt at a party on Saturday night which also happens to be his 11th birthday.

can't wait to see it Wendy, and its great that hes in touch with his emotions, the martial arts are about mind over matter more than physical strength and someone who is in touch with their innermost feelings is very definately intellectually strong. x

WATCH OUT - PROUD MUM MOMENT, photos as promised!!!

This is the guy who graded him a couple of weeks beforehand.

Me and my black belt (the rose was given to the people who passed the black belts to give to the person who had supported them through their training, Ashley gave his to me)

Well Done to you both :)

Laur's princess:

Next time I see him (which maybe November at the next grading) I will ask for his number!!!!! He used to teach Ashley at the Burton academy but moved somewhere else to teach so I was really surprised to see him at the grading. He's a lovely bloke, always smiling and jolly although he looks quite serious on the photos. Thankyou for all your kind comments. Ashley thinks its great he's up on here for all to see.
