To quick solo trip just changed from 2 days to 1. My first time at DL so I've been so excited! It's because of work. I'll be at Laguna Beach for a few days. So my plan was to check in to the Park Vue Inn on Friday morning 3/6. Then stay until Sunday morning. So I would have had all day Friday and Saturday.

Now I have to go back Saturday on a 2 pm flight. So I guess I'll only really have Friday. I could go a couple hours Saturday but I don't think it's worth buying a ticket for that.

I'm so sad now. I want to make the most of it. I may never be back...I live in the Midwest. I don't want to go completely commando so I can take it all in. But I don't want to miss any headliners either! Any words of encouragement would be very welcomed right now!

Get to the park early and you'll have plenty of time for all of the headliners. Dont stress about it though, itll take away from your experience. Enjoy yourself, and take some time to appreciate where you are. If you are rushing from place to place you might miss that.

It's OK! I did a solo trip last summer (two days - a Friday and Saturday). The first day, I hit EVERY SINGLE RIDE and almost every show (didn't see "Aladdin" because I had recently seen the Broadway version and felt like it was the thing I could pass up if it came down to it) at both DL and DCA on Friday alone. The only thing you'll have to compromise on is Fantasmic/Fireworks vs. World of Color.

I also took plenty of time for meals, cocktails and just general wandering around.

I would probably start in DL at rope drop and hit the dark rides in Fantasyland, grab a Fast Pass for Space or BTMR then hop over to DCA for Radiator Springs, Screamin', ToT, Toy Story and Soarin' (if it's open). Remember that RSR, Screamin', Indiana Jones, Matterhorn and Splash all have single rider lines. Also, Grizzly River Rapids and Goofy's Sky School.

After that, I would just wander back and forth and catch what rides you might want to do! There are some rides in Fantasyland, Bugs Land and Paradise Pier you may not be interested in riding, so you'll at least have a chance to walk through and experience the theming.

Also, keep in mind that the parks don't really start getting busy until around lunchtime, so if you rope drop, you'll be in really great shape to hit headliners before people start showing up!

Make sure you take advantage of the single rider lines since you'll be there solo. That will help maximize your time.

I probably can't be there at rope drop. I'll be coming from my hotel in Laguna Beach that morning. But hopefully it will be early. So should I start at Cars Land or Fantasyland?
