My sister is all upset, because her friend nicole is catholic and she is Christian. Her friends was like " catholic is the right way! "


now my sister just burst out in tears. the friendship is over.

In a true friendship, religion shouldn't matter.

I'm an atheist and I am really good friends with some strong catholic and christian people, it doesn't effect our friendship at all.

I'm so sorry Ive had these conversations with my friends before my friend gets all mad at me since our bibles say differents thing and they call people Saint ex. Saint John and we call him John the Baptist and shell get mad at me because for a few seconds i cant figure out what she is talking about then she tells me i should be a Orthodox Christian instead of a Christian then we start fighting maybe her and her friend can work it out

Um just to sound dull here but isn't the catholic faith part of the christian faith, just catholics like worship Mary instead of Jesus.

I know i'm sorry that was badly worded.

You see in our religious education at school they don't try and force us to believe in anything they just try and make us accept and understand other people's faith and customs. It's sad that some people just can't do that, just because they believe in one thing doesn't mean everyone should. There is no right or wrong religion.

Perhaps worship wasn'tthe best word i could've used.
I'm sure someone told us that catholics like prayed to Mary or something.
I could be confuzzling my religions.
Up until 5th grade they tried to persuade us that the christian faith was the right way to go and tried to discourage us from being a part of any other religion.
I prefer the RE system in this school.

That's exactly what i was going to say. Being a Morman, people can easily hurt my feelings and not even know it, since most don't know I'm a morman. stuff like, "Satan-worshiping poligamists..." or "Crazy people with 6 wives" etc, that they say, not knowing I'M a Morman, or that what they are saying is completley not true. We are christians. we beleive in God, Jesus, etc. We are ABSOLUTLEY NOT poligamists. but people still hate us. It's so not fair.

I hate that! I'm atheist. My BFF (one of them!) is like, Baptist or something like that. Her family is kinda religious and all. But she doesn't care that I'm atheist.

I love Wicca, too. I hate people who think Wiccans are satan worshippers and baby killers. They just have a different appreciation of life! They take time to appreciate and honor the little things in life. Read up on it!
