My fiance and I don't like to use a savings account to save money for our upcoming Disney trip in October. So yesterday, I made a box for us to keep our money in. I took a wooden Champagne box and covered it with paper that I'd printed out. The pics are below...

Great job
Unfortuately I have to have a can which is a bit like a baked bean can with a hole in the top, and needs to be opened with a can opener at the end of the saving period. That way I can't 'borrow' any of the money I have previously saved as I can't get at it without the rest of the family knowing:rotfl:

Really cute!

I hated to be a party pooper, but last year we were broken into (actually, my son did not lock the door after feeding the cats and I forgot to check). They stole our cash for Disney Christmas trip. And I had just dropped the car off at the mechanics - $1,055. A real bd day. Don't let it happen to you. I was surprised they fopuind it. I was surprised it could happen so fast, I took the kids to school, dropped off the car, got a ride home - 30-40 minutes. They must have been watching.
