My Rooms At HOJO...

No, truth be told I've hurt my shoulder really badly and the Dr gave me some meds to try and they knocked me right out. It will have to wait until probably Friday because I have Parent Teacher interviews the next couple of days! The suspense is killing me too!!!

I know, I know but I just want to know so badly! Especially if I'm by a freeway, I have a hard enough time sleeping as it is!

Stick a white noise machine in your luggage. We got ours at WalMart for about $10 and it saves us when we travel. It is little enough to stick in our suitcase and keeps us from hearing most outside noises. It handles road noise, but sometimes the odd siren can get through. :confused3 KWIM?

FYI....
I'm typing this post from HoJo's now, we are on the second floor of building 2.

Personally I think building 2 is closest to the freeway. We however do have a pool view and I hear ZERO noise from the freeway at this very moment. (TV off, family sleepin).

We have stayed with theme park view in Building 1 before. Didn't notice noise there either.

Love this place. My kids have been at the water park both days, even giving up precious "disney hours" to play in the water.

Great! Because I sure haven't had any time to call HOJO!

And the white noise thing-a-ma-bob! What a great idea! Thanks, I really appreciate all the help!

I stayed in building 1 on the freeway side and you can hear it a lot all night long.

Good thing I just fell into bed and went to sleep. If you do not live by a freeway it will bug you to no end.

Would I stay at that hojo again yes I would I would just request no freeway in building 1.

I just made reservations at HoJos for a quickie Jan. birthday trip. I didn't have much to spend since I went last month with the family and stayed at GCH, am going this month with my sis and staying at DLH, and again in Feb. with my mom at DLH! Whew! So money was definitely an issue for my January trip with oldest dd...

...so I booked the entertainment card standard $59 room. What a great deal! $135 for 2 nights, including tax. I called and talked to Jennifer. I didn't really want building 1 because of the freeway and the fact that at the standard rate, we'd have been on the 1st or 2nd floor, possibly on the freeway side. I don't need a premium Disney view this trip. Building 2 wasn't much more expensive and I thought about doing that, but it didn't have the skylight rooms. So I decided to go with Jennifer's suggestion of building 4, upper level courtyard view. That way I get minimal noise and the skylight room. Those buildings are only 2 floors and there are no elevators, but I've not got a problem with going up a flight of stairs. It's just my dd and me so I don't care if we get queens or the xl double beds. Pillow top mattresses don't matter to me either, but if you want those, you'll want building 1 or 2.
