We love the dining plan. It saved us a bunch of money. We were able to eat at Chef mickeys, the coral reef, garden grill, 1900 park fare, mama melrose, ohana's and Cinderella's royal table. Plus a bunch of counter service places and snacks. Each day, we'd use the snack as breakfast, the counter service as lunch and the table service at dinner to get the most for our money. There were so many choices and we never had any problems at all using it. It was very easy. We'd never be able to eat at those wonderful places without the dining plan. We were never treated badly by servers because of the dining plan. The convienience was great. The portions were usually huge. Every now and then we came across a meal that could have had a more generous portion, but for the most part, it was great. Having dessert with every meal made us feel like we were kings. We only wish we had a bit more snack credits for late night snacks or drinks in the parks. We'd never go to disney without the dining plan. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the review on the dining plan. We are trying it for the first time in January and are looking forward to it.

I totaly agree we just returned from 10 days with DDP and loved it. We had tried it many years ago when it was the voucher system and hated that (felt like I was on food stamps) so we had not used it in years. This trip we tried it again and it was wonderful. We ate at Chef's, Le Cellar, Chef Mickey, 50's Prime Time, Boma's, Coral Reef, GF Cafe, Wolf Gang Puck and Crystal Palace. The food was wonderful and with the snacks and CS we ate like Kings. Will never go without DDP again. Great Value IMO

We tried it last summer. We ate at the Hoop Dee Doo, Cinderella's breakfast, Biergarten, and Hollywood and Vine. It was truly more food than we could eat in a week. We had breakfast in our room, CS lunch around 1, and dinner around 7 each night. We were so full all of the time, we had 11 snacks to use our last day! We figured w/ a family of 4, we spent $630 on the DDP, and our meals would have been close to $900. This year we plan to save all receipts, just so we can add them up and see how much we truly saved. :cool1:
