Two big thumbs up.

We went to the 4:15 trying to avoid some of the crowds. Wrong. Everyone else in town had the same idea! It sold out and people were splitting their groups up just to get a seat.

I thought it was intense, frightening, funny, sad, just about every emotion one can experience during a movie.

My DH on the other hand agrees with WDWHound's opinion. He felt there wasn't enough action, but then again, if someone or something isn't getting blown up at least every 5 minutes, he gets bored with the movie.

I think this is one of those movies that has a message within a message.

It does drag a bit....but I look at it as more of a tease.

Go and see it, I think it's money well spent.

Oh and apparently while at the movie, we missed one wicked storm!

Tree limbs, leaves, lawn chairs and all kind of debris are all over the place!

And the power came back on right as we walked through the door!

We also had that storm, Blondie. I've never seen anything quite like it.

Thanks for the review. I think DH and I will see it next weekend.

Snoopy, I know you're a Mel fan.

He displays some great emotions here. Bring some kleenex! I had to hold back the tears, but then again, I am PMSing!

Blondie my DH felt the same way. When it as over he loudly said "That's it???" I loved it though. I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Hmmmm there was a storm after we saw it too on Fri. night, wonder if that is a trend?!

LOL Kallison, that is too weird about the storms!

Maybe Signs will end up being a 'chick flick' not because of Mel Gibson, but (without giving too much away for those who have yet to see it) I think there are several scenes that play on your emotions....emotions that I think some men can't connect with. I'll leave it at that!

I just had myself imagining what I would've done if placed in the same situation.

When I read about *********** liking the ending, while watching the movie I was wondering what the heck she could've been talking about.

Again, I think it's a message within a message, one that we could all use a little of now and then!

My dh liked the movie even more than I did - and he absolutely, positively hates chick flicks. :D
