My resale is not listed on the for sale page anymore...

I just checked and the resale I am buying is not listed even as sale pending. Does that mean I am closer to getting the final paper work?

Or does that mean I just need to be patient and wait like a good little boy so I can make reservations next month?

Unless you have heard otherwise I would take it as a good sign. Both of my resales were taken off the website pretty much after our offer was accepted.

May I ask who you bought through? I made an offer on a resale and it also disappeared from the website, but I haven't heard back from the realtor since his initial e-mail.

I bought from the TimeShare Store.

I haven't heard anything from them since the initial paper work was filled out and mailed.

I did get a fax from Timeshare Closing Services verifying our names and and addresses. That paper said to expect a closing packet within 3 weeks. The end of 3 weeks will be the 5th of February.

Once I get that packet I imagine I am in for another 1 - 2 week wait while the deed is recorded.

I just called the closing service.... my packet is still waiting on approval from Disney. They have 4 weeks to say yes or no. If they never say anything I have to wait the full 4 weeks and then it is a yes. I hope Disney responds soon and doesn't make me with the whole 4 weeks to start the next process.

Rumor has it that Disney intends to buy back significantly more of these resales. I don't know at what point that policy was/is to go into effect or what precisely that will entail, but for your sake I hope Disney doesn't chose to exercise that right and you can get it handled and make those first reservations soon! The worst part of resale is definitely the uncertainty and waiting, even though in retrospect it wasn't that long, it seemed to drag forever.

We bought a resale in Oct for $62 per point and just closed on another resale that was $62.40 per point. Disney approved both of the these. I was wondering if they would go thru since I rarely see any that are that low.

Which resort did you purchase on your resale? I'm looking into resales and trying to get an idea of prices.
