After reading all of these reports, I decided that I had to do one myself. I had already done one P&P event. But I hadn't done everything that I wanted to do. So I decided to come down just for the weekend (my dad came with me). The trip started on March 1st. We were flying out of Newark Airport. The flight was pretty crowded. There was a couple of dance groups going down for a competition. The flight member doing the announcements even said (when doing the part about the air masks) "first do your own, and then if you have an infant, someone acting like an infant, or a dance member you can assist them"). It wasn't exactly like that, but it got a good laugh. The flight was pretty bad. About halfway through we hit some rough air, and it got pretty bouncy. That was probably my worst flight ever. Anyway, the flight made it there it good time, and....we were in Disney! It was nice going from about 20* weather to nice warm weather. I could get used to this. Coming up next- Hitting up Magic Kingdom! Pictures included.

Well, after a good night's rest me and my dad got up and ready to head over to the MK. We arrived, parked, and got in the park by 9:30. First stop, teacups. I wanted to see if my favorite characters were out. I was not disappointed either.

I had the best conversation with Mad Hatter. I even told him I would be at the parade (What time? 3:30 of course.;) ). After that encounter it was off to Tomorrowland. There was no wait for Buzz Lightyear, so we decided to ride.
LifeAfterCP244.jpg

I usually do about so-so on this ride. But today I got 34,000! Let's just say I beat my dad by, oh...a lot.:rotfl: It felt good.
LifeAfterCP193.jpg

Then we just kept walking around there was absolutely no waits. We then rode Winnie the Pooh (no wait).

Then we went to see Philharmagic (5 minute wait).

This show is tied with Muppets for my favorite 3-D shows (I don't really like the other 2). Then it was off to ride POTC.
(Space saved for POTC pictures til I can find them)

After that my dad was getting tired, so we decided to split up. So I just wandered around. I decided to go see characters. First stop, Toontown. Who better to see then the Big Cheese himself- Mickey Mouse. I was wearing a shirt that said "My (heart) belongs to Mickey". That got him all embarrassed.

More to follow.

After seeing Mickey I decided to see who was in the HOF. I had promised a friend I would see Chip and Dale. They luckily were in. The other 2 lines were too long, so I didn't go there. In the Chipmunk room was Donald Duck, Chip and Dale, and Daisy Duck.

So after visiting with them, I decided to go to Town Square. I wanted to see how long the lines were (I already had all the characters). The line for Pinocchio and Gepetto was pretty long, but Gideon was by himself and had no line. So I got a picture with him.

LifeAfterCP221.jpg

It was about time for the Family Fun Day Parade, so I went down to the Castle Hub. There was almost no people picked for it, and they were looking desperate. So I volunteered. I was put in Horace's section (with the flags). That makes it 3/3 I have done it, and been in Horace's section (must be me). Anyway, it was fun. I don't have any pictures, though (kind of hard to march, wave a flag, and take pictures ). So once the Parade ended, I was off to Adventureland. There I got to see Timon and Rafiki.

LifeAfterCP224.jpg

I had asked around to find out if the Stepsisters and Lady Tremaine would be out, and told the time. So since I had time to kill, I went over to Frontierland. There I saw Brer Bear and Brer Fox.

LifeAfterCP229.jpg

They were really funny. I enjoy those 2 a lot (especially since I had them quite a few times for MVMCP).

Great pics & report so far! I think you've seen more chars. so far in this trip than I've seen in all of mine combined!

Looking forward to hearing about the party!

I didn't know that the Wonderland crew were your favorite characters. Great report so far. Already, lots of characters!

Anyway, after meeting with Brer Fox and Brer Bear, I decide to go catch Woody's Cowboy Camp. I arrived in the middle. It is really a cute little show.

Right as the show was ending I remembered that Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters were due out about...now. I literally dashed from Frontierland through Liberty Square all the way to Fantasyland behind the castle, making it with a couple of moments to spare. Unfortunately, only Lady Tremaine appeared. That was sort of ok, though as I did need her. And she was something else. She asked me how I liked her kingdom, as I seemed to always be there (so true ).

Then it was off to Main Street to catch the parade. But first, went to go see the characters in the front of the park. Good thing too. The chipmunks were having fun with a stroller. Chip was pushing Dale all over (and threatening to let go of the stroller ).

I love all the pictures with the characters, and I can't believe how many there are, I must have been at all the wrong places at all the wrong times, I never saw that many. But you give me hope.

So it was time for the characters to go in, and time to go get settled for the parade. There was plenty of room, and I was able to get a spot by the Barber Shop (my favorite spot) easily. The parade was good, as always.

After the parade, it was time to do some more wandering and time-killing. So I went into a couple of shops, then went to get my wristband.

I then decided to go to Tomorrowland to try to find Buzz and Stitch (I needed Buzz's autograph, and Stitch is just so cute). I was able to find both.

LifeAfterCP242.jpg

I rode Buzz Lightyear again, and didn't do nearly as well as last time. Really bad, actually. And then I did Space Mountain a couple of times. Soon it was time for Wishes, so I watched that. I went to get dinner and enjoyed that while wasting time. Soon it was party time! First stop, Toontown! I had done a couple of the lines at a previous party. So the one line I needed was the Snow White line.
LifeAfterCP274.jpg

LifeAfterCP275.jpg

I then remembered that I needed Mickey and Donald (having gotten Minnie and Daisy already). There was almost no wait for either.
LifeAfterCP277.jpg

LifeAfterCP276.jpg

After meeting them I left Toontown. And I ran into friends (totally unplanned). Among them was AngieBelle. I remained with them for the rest of the evening. Our first stop was to see Ariel and Prince Eric.
LifeAfterCP279.jpg

The rest of the night was just character hunting and stopping at the treasure stations. The next characters on our list was: Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters! They were the best part of the whole night (besides one other guy ). They were hysterical! They would make fun of anyone dressed as Cinderella (in a nice way, of course), they sang happy birthday VERY off-key (I was surprise no one on Main Street- heck, the TTC, did not hear them), they fawned over all the guys, and asked my friend why she was dressed as a sushi platter. Such fun, and totally worth it.

After leaving the "Royal Family" we headed down towards Main Street. On the way though, we passed by the castle and a show of Dream Along with Mickey was going on. This was good news for me. Ever since the "new teachnology" was released, I had been trying to catch a show with it. However, the last 2 times was a no-go. And even today (for the afternoon shows) they were not using it. But my luck was about to change. We decided to stop and catch the rest of the show (a member of my group had never seen it). And, they were using it!:yay: It was totally strange seeing it (after being used to the old way). And I don't think I will EVER be used to seeing Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. But anyway. I couldn't get pictures of the show, so hopefully the next time I see it I can. We then headed down Main Street looking for a spot for the parade. Not too difficult at all. There were TONS of spots at the end of Main Street. We parked ourselves in front of the candy shop, which had free samples of fudge. Delicious!:thumbsup2 I saw an old friend, who was now in Guest Relations.

The best part about watching here was that there was plenty of light. This helped taking some pictures (at least with my camera). It was all-in-all a good parade, but a little short. But I liked it.

Wow, you've met so many characters so far! I especially think the photos of the Stepfamily are awesome.

Thanks everyone. It sure was a fun trip (even for being so short).

Anyway, after the parade ended, we just wandered around until the fireworks started. We ended up watching on Main Street as well. For some reason, I did not get many good firework pictures. So, here are the ones I did get.

LifeAfterCP324.jpg

LifeAfterCP136.jpg

Once the fireworks ended, we all decided we were hungry. So we stopped by the Mexican place in Adventureland (the name excapes me now). We all got the tacos. That would turn out to be a mistake for me later on. We continued wandering, stopping at all the treat stations. I got to see the camels before we had dinner, and they were HUGE (I don't know their real names).

LifeAfterCP333.jpg

One of the characters that we all wanted was John Smith, so as soon as we finished eating we flew over to the meeting spot. And we got lucky. As soon as we arrived John Smith and Pocahontas came out!

LifeAfterCP335.jpg

Well, at this point one of my friends had wanted to see Belle's Storytime. So that's where we went next. It was a cute little story. And I had worked with Belle before. So of course we had to get pictures taken (my friend was dressed as Belle for the party). It was the one group picture of the night.

LifeAfterCP338.jpg

At this point the party was starting to wind down. We went to Toontown, but the lines were pretty long. We now had a decission to make. Trying to meet Captain Jack won out. So back to Adventureland. And here is where the bad taco comes in. I am not positive if it was the taco. But something happened to my stomach. And I had to break off from the group to hit the bathroom in the Adventureland Breezeway. I was able to catch up to them in line (it was still open) but I would have to leave once more before we got up to him. And I'm so glad I didn't miss him. He was great! He knew my name, and that we had "met" before. He complained a little about there being no rum, and asked if the picture would be coming up on that "myspace thing".

LifeAfterCP341.jpg

After we finished with him, it was pretty much the end of the party. So I split from my friends and decided to do a little shopping before I had to meet up with my dad. I got a game for my Nintendo DS, and went to catch the monorail. So thus ends the party. Back to the hotel to get ready for the next day.

I am so jealous that you got to meet Jack, none of my friends wanted to wait on the line when I went to P&P last week!

I love your TR! You met *soooo* many characters, it's unbelievable! I'm so jealous. I went to the Pirate and Princess party and didn't realize all those characters were out! I would have killed to meet Mickey and friends dressed up like that and Lady Tremaine and the evil step-sisters.......ugh! So jealous!

The next day we went to MGM. Since we got in so late (it was after 1:30 am) and since I still wasn't feeling too good, we slept in. We left the hotel and got there about 10:15. Since it was ESPN the weekend, it was PACKED!! The rides were not too bad, but everywhere else was just crazy. So we walked around, enjoyed the nice weather, did a few rides. After a couple of hours it was starting to get too crowded for us, so we decided to head out and go to the airport. I was more then happy to go, what with not feeling well and since I would be back in a few months anyway. So we had to get the rental car filled, went to the airport, and found that we could catch a much earlier flight. That was good news. The bad news? We spent over a hour and a half on the runways- both in FL and in NJ. The flight did not take off for about 45 minutes in FL- that was annoying just sitting there. And then once we landed in NJ, we spent another 30 minutes or so on the runway there (the reason for that one was a Continental flight was in the way). We arrived to chilly weather. Well, that was my P&P weekend trip (probably the shortest one I have ever taken). I hopefully will be back in Disney the end of May. Here's for fingers crossed.

I just want to add pictures from my first P&P party.
These were the P&P signs, 2 at the TTC and 2 by the park entrance.
