My Rant on Flag Sitting (feel free to imput)

How do you lure them off the flag?

Here is my solution for flag sitters. called CANNONS. If someone is sitting on the flag, shoot them and they will explode, thus not sitting on a flag anymore. Leaving it for you to take.

Shooting a dead ship in Capture makes them explode. It doesn't work in battle, but it does in capture. I think running into them might work too, but I wouldn't recommend it since when they explode the fireballs could hit you.

I think what Bears is trying to say is - what if you have used all your ammo and they are a pile of ash still? Arg! NOTHING bugs me more than flag sitters. I would rather someone sink me from the back while I'm stuck on the rocks than deal with a flag sitter. Have some pirate courage and venture into the seas!

Get more ammo? It's not like they're going anywhere.

I hate flag sitters too, though I mostly guard so I don't have to deal with them as much as flag runners.

What i meant by lure is that if you circle around them enough, they might come off of the flag to chase you.. lol should have made it more clear now that i read my post.. sorry

I don't think they would want to explode because they want to block the ship. If they explode bc you hit them then there wouldn't be any fireballs to hit you. They would just explode and no fireballs would go flying. Same if you hit a boat. It just dies and explodes and no fireballs.
