My quick opinion of Deluxe Dining Plan

Hi, We upgraded our plan to Deluxe Dining so we would have the opportunity to experience new restaurants. We did accomplish this!

Cali Grill was fantastic!! I am glad we went, food was wonderful, service was great! If we had to pay for this OOP we would have never had the opportunity to try it!

Artist Point was again wonderful and great service! We did not enjoy the surroundings. A bit gloomy.

Flying Fish was delicious. The mussel appetizer and the potato wrapped snapper was wonderful!!

Tutto and Via Napoli were great! We went twice to Via Nap. This was the only place I enjoyed the dessert!! The fried "balls" ( do not know what they were called)!

Kona was a disappointment for lunch. Service was not very good and the lunch was just "there"!

Kouzzina for breakfast was also just OK! The only thing I enjoyed was the granola pancake!

WPE was great as always!!

That said, we had 14 snack credits left, and 5 table service left. Only ate a total of 4 desserts.

I do not think we will get the deluxe again! It was a great experience and allowed us to enjoy restaurants we would have never done and the freedom to not worry about cost!

Next trip planned for Sept 2012 with grand-daughters will be regular dining plan!

Great review! I feel the same as you--I also upgraded this past trip & enjoyed a few of the signature restaurants that we probably wouldn't have tried if I wasn't on the plan. I thought I had planned everything out to a "T" but we also ended up with xtra meal/snack credits. IMO it was very time consuming. I haven't ruled it out in the future but I'm leaning back towards the regular DDP

Did you calculate to see if you would have been better off just paying OOP for the extra credits?
