Well, we finally hit our 90 day mark this week & can start making some PS's. We're staying a little longer this time (11 nights) & I had some trouble arranging some PS's. We will be staying at POP & like to take advantage of EMH almost daily - Here is what I've tentatively come up with:

9/15 - fly into Orlando 11:24 am, ck-into POP, 4 pm Crystal Palace

9/16 - 7 am Chef Mickey's, 2:30 pm Le Cellier

9/17 - 11 am Flame Tree BBQ, dinner at Cantina de San Angel

9/18 - 11:30 Beaches & Cream, dinner at Columbia Harbor House

9/19 - Main Street Bake Shop, 5:30 Cape May Cafe

9/20 - 10 am Boma, 3:30 Nine Dragons

9/21 - 11:30 Mama Melrose's,

9/22 - 8 am Cinderella's Royal Table, 2:30 pm Rainforest Cafe

9/23 - 7:15 am 'Ohanna's, 2:30 pm Garden Grill

9/24 - 9:30 am Donald's Break., dinner at Cantina de San Angel

9/25 - 10 am Cape May, 4 pm Liberty Tree

9/26 - 10 am Crystal Palace, fly home at 3:45 pm

Can anyone offer any suggestions? Are there any other great restaurants we should try? We are also planning on eating at the POP food court a couple mornings & maybe a lunch or dinner as needed. Thanks in advance!!! :wave2:

That looks great to me. You have our 2 favorite not-to-be-missed on your list, Le Cellier and Boma!! Just don't forget to have 10 or 12 Dole Whips, our new favorite snack thanks to everyone on the Disboards!! Have a wonderful time!!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

This all sounds really good. The only thing I wonder is how you can eat that much?!?!? The last two times we've visited we did a similar two meals a day and midway through we couldn't eat. This year we are doing a late breakfast meal every day and plan to have some snacks and maybe counter food for the kids in the evening. We just can't keep up with that food intake pace!

Have fun and eat well, by the looks of it, the second won't be a problem.

Shelly

Hey - we'll be there with you the 15th thru the 19th! Your choices look great to me!

We are also trying Beaches & Cream and the 'Ohana breakfast for the first time!

9/23 is the only day that I wouldn't do - only becasue it is two character meals in a row. We only do one character meal a trip, so two in one day seems a lot to me.

Have a great trip!

While you choices are good and plentiful, I notice that you will be doing a lot of traveling - for example would you want to combine Chef Mickey's and LTT on the same day and do Cape May and Mexico on the same day since they are closer in proximity.

Don't worry about eating too much. Some folks think that when you're at Disney, you won't want to eat three meals a day. We ate three meals every day while we were there, AND had snacks. GASP! Your PS's look great and I think you'll enjoy getting such a great sampling of what Disney has to offer. Have fun!

Thanks for all your replies! :)

Harambe - I was actually looking at 9/23 last night & I think I'm going to switch 'Ohanna's over to 9/19 instead - this will help hold us over until our dinner at Cape May that night. :) We really love the character meals, though & try to do as many as we can each trip. It's our way of splurging on meals - we really don't enjoy the fancier, more expensive restaurants anyways.

Sydprincess - I know what you mean! ;) Sometimes when looking at our plans I wonder if we'll even be hungry for some of our planned meals, but then I remember the heat & all that walking! We find that it works great for us to try for 2 meals a day & then snacks as they're needed.

Chipster - Since it's a slower time when we are going - we generally never spend an entire day in the same park. We are always at the gates by 8 am & generally get everything done we need to by mid-day. Then we like to enjoy a swim back at the resort, then we like to head to a different park for a change of pace. This has worked well for us in the past, so we're gonna try it again - thanks for the advice, though! (Liberty Tree Tavern is also our "traditional" last dinner at the parks each trip. ;) )

Thanks again to everyone for their advice - we're getting so excited for our trip!!! :)

Was there last Sept. and ate at Donald's Breakfastosaurus for character breakfast and the food was horrible and the characters were in a very big rush. And we were disapointed with the Cape May Cafe, the food looked like it had been sitting out all day.:earsboy: pirate: :space: :space: :space:

Wow - that looks like a lot of great choices:D How many people are in your party?

It looks great, the only concern I would have is eating in one park/resort at 10:00am and then in a completely different park/resort at 4:00. With travel times between places being almost 1hr sometimes it doesn't leave much time for an afternoon break or just plain having fun at the parks.

All the choices look yummy::yes::

Looks great! I think the move of O'Hana's to the 19th is a great idea. That way you have a character meal both days. We like to do a character meal each day. I love your choices. Enjoy!!

do you think you can get from pop to chef mickey's by 7am? do the busses run that early thru pop or will you be using your own car? we're also staying at pop and i've been hesitant to make such an early breakfast (although i know our family will be up and hungry! LOL) for fear of lack of travel... let me know... thanks in advance!

gigi1313 - There is another post floating around here somewhere about resort transportation. I have read that the MK busses start running by 6:30 am daily. As long as we hop that 1st bus, we should make it to Chef Mickey's by 7 (we hope!) ;)

momxx5 - It's just me & my hubby - the only reason we ended up with one at 10 & one at 4 is because that is our last full day in the parks. LTT is traditionally always our last dinner in the parks. We're trying Cape May's breakfast for the first time this trip & really looking forward to it - we picked that morning because we'll be at MGM for EMH & then will leave there to eat.

Thanks again everyone - getting very excited!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We just had a terrible experience at Donald's. Just a heads up, you are very RUSHED. And I've now heard this numerous times from others.

lensham - Thanks for the heads up about Donald's - we've actually been there 3-4 times now & we've always really enjoyed it. I think for us the difference in not feeling rushed may be because we go in the off season. We always do EMH at AK & then eat a late breakfast at Donald's. We've always had hot & delicious food & even seen some of the characters more than once during our meal. Hopefully, we'll still enjoy it in Sept - we're looking forward to eating there - thanks again! :D

Looks great to me!!! I usually do the same and plan two meals a day. And we also go from one park to the other. Good choices!!!
