I am putting my proposed plan out there for y'all to let me know what you think. We will be arriving in the evening and spending one night at the Dolphin (with breakfast included) before moving over to the Beach Club for our 5 night package including the deluxe dining plan. We will be going to T-rex OOP because DS (4) is OBSESSED with dinos! I am basing my schedule on suggested parks from Touring Plans.

Sun.
Breakfast at Dolphin
Check in at Beach Club
Downtown Disney
Lunch at T-Rex (OOP)
Dinner at 1900 Park Fair (1)

Mon.
Breakfast at Cape May Café (1)

Dinner – Candlelight Processional Package (Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Tutto Italia, or Via Napoli) (2)

Tues.
Animal Kingdom
Breakfast at Tusker House (1)
Dinner at Beaches and Cream (1)

Wed.
Magic Kingdom
Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table (2)
Dinner at California Grill (2)

Looks very doable and nicely spread out as not to feel like you are going form restaurant to restaurant.

Everything looks really good! You're going to want to be flexible on Thursday's plan, because if you go to a waterpark that day you're going to be awfully rushed trying to fit in 3 sitdown meals at your resort. But since you have an OOP meal at a restaurant that accepts the plan, you're free to cancel either breakfast or lunch if needed to make the day flow better.

Why are you paying oop for meals when you have the deluxe dining plan?:confused3

T-rex is not on the dining plan and DS is dino obsessed. This is his vacation and I am going to make sure he has the best possible experience.

The other OOP is a maybe meal depending on our plans for the day. That day is up in the air. We are doing a bunch of signature meals and we will be there for 6 full days so credits get used up. Besides Kouzzina is very inexpensive for breakfast, I'd rather pay for it OOP than give up a signature meal.

I woild not choose to do Dessert party right after California Grill. Seems like you would appreciate it more if you had not just walked away from a huge meal. Maybe do it anothere night?

I'm not sure that I'd keep Thursday as is. I'd use the credit at Kouzzine's and skip that lunch. Otherwise with the waterpark you have the potential of not eating lunch until late which will push that yummy dinner back even further! I would think with the waterpark you might just want to do CS. Otherwise you are going to be rushing to leave in order to eat. Lunch might even be nice to just have some ice cream at beaches and cream!

If we do go to the water park I will use the credit for breakfast and cancel lunch. I am just not sure how likely a water day is in December!

I think that makes perfect sense. That is really the ONLY day you have alot of food (IMO)... it likes really nice. :thumbsup2

Thats fine. I just think I would plan things so I don't have to pay oop for any meals. The dxdp is more than enough food. We are doing 9 signature meals in 10 days and I still haven't used up all my credits. I will be using my credits for a breakfast at kouzina. Since I paid over 2000 for the dxdp there is no way I am going to spend a dime more on food. Adult beverages are a different story. ;) Have a good trip.

Excellent - IMHO, this is the very best way to take advantage of the DxDP. One 1 credit meal, and one signature a day. DH and I enjoyed this so much in November, that we're upgrading free dining to the DxDP when we go with my family in August. I also think that my DS7 will appreciate the better options he has on the menu at the signature restaurants.

Just be prepared to bring home lots of snacks....Karamel Kuche in Germany has fantastic Rice Krispie treats!:thumbsup2
