I just changed from the default skin to the Serenity Green and now things seem to be displaying properly.

I posted on the Tech Support board about this in case the tech people didn't know this was going on. Not sure if that is the "right" way to report tech problems or not though.

by the mods - without telling me -it was a picture that i took myself of whales in the wild.

i have had this picture as my signature for 9 months.

this is out of order mods.

You can't receive PM's, which means you received points for something you posted. When you get enough points, they take away your signature. So it probably wasn't the mods that were "out of order".

That is exactly why her signature is gone. It will reappear when her infraction expires. The mods don't do that. The software does it when you have enough infraction points. Just wait 8 more days and it will be back.

I've had points once or twice and yes, you get a PM.

what was being displayed was the code for it. it was strange to see but i didn't say anything then and it seems to be back now
