My princess had her first Ballet Class

Hi my dd who is 4 went to her first ballet class and loved it.. I was very proud of what a confident girl she is, she did not know any of the other children however was more than happy to join in and did not hesitate even a little bit. she is looking forward to her next lesson very much.

She is starting school is September and my mind is now more at ease with how she will cope with it.

Sweet. My DD's loved all dancing - tap, ballet, modern, jazz etc and danced from 2 1/2 to 16 so be prepared for the long haul

My neice is starting school in Sept too, I'm really excited for her but also sad at how fast the last 4 years have gone!!!

Glad your daughter enjoyed her class, we had a country and line dancing after school club at my primary school and I loved it! We used to dance on open nights and other events. Yee-haw!

I loved Ballet, and like Gills DDs did all types of dance for years, its a great fitness routine and I so wished I'd kept it up.

Glad she enjoyed it. Wish her well for future lessons and public performances My two do karate, Glen will grade for black belt in November and Ashley is about 4 months behind. Glen hates me watching, Ashley doesn't mind so its a bit of a problem when I want to go and support them when they grade for a new belt. I should've had girls!!!

Wow! Black belt? That's incredibly impressive. I got up to yellow before I quit at abou 9 years old. I would have liked to have continued but our tutor brought in this lad of about 16 to help out and he just bullied everyone instead, about half the kids left, sad really.

I'm glad your little princess enjoyed it.
My DD (3) started her classes two weeks before Easter but I didn't kit her out until last week (after her third class) and have had to pay fees for tap and ballet , tap shoes ,ballet shoes , a Tutu ,a T shirt for her forthcoming show (scary ! 8 weeks to teach 8 three year olds two dances !) and apparently we'll still have to pay for the costumes. It seems to be an expensive business. But It's worth it when you see them all coming out like little pink princesses with their happy smiling faces.

It certainly can be. My DD! had a Yugoslavian costume that cost me nearly £100 to MAKE MYSELF!! And that was 10 years ago! And it took about 20-30 hours sewing on dogtags so it jangled when she danced!
