Here is Mulan at 4.5 inches....DD7 did everything except for the eyes!

(Sorry for not getting to this last night...we had a post back to school night party, just for the grown-ups!)

got mine yesterday too.......DD was all over them! has already put in her "order", I'm making all the princess icons for their siggys for our upcoming trip and then will work on the girls themselves.

LOVE that Mulan!! My cartridges should be here by the end of the week. I can't wait!! :cool1:

I didn't order them because I read that they aren't recommended for the 'lil bug. What do you think? Are the princesses going to be too detailed for my 'lil bug?

Mulan looks OK at that size...hmmmm...

Thanks!!

I did Mushu last night at 4 inches. I was a real PITA. I wish I had thought to make him at 8 inches or so first, just so I could figure out what was going on with all of the little pieces.

I guess that any of the pieces that have 2 people -- like Ariel with Eric, etc. would be a nightmare. But the portraits, accesories, icons should all be fine. Maybe I should measure the dimensions of the Mulan to see if the little cricut would cut it out at that size.

My guess is that as long as you are using the largest size, the little cricut would do fine on most of cart. I don't have the little cricut to try it out, but check with SusieStone. I know she ordered these carts; I don't know what size bug she has.

(Maybe Santa can bring you an expression. Have you been a good girl this year?)

:santa: I think for Santa to bring me an expression, I'd have to be a naughty naughty girl :cool2:

I've got both bugs but haven't cut anything out with these carts yet.

I have to get some swaps done first. Maybe I can try it out this weekend.

OMG! i love this mulan!!!! and you dd7 did it!!!! i can't figure out how to use mine.

i have had mine almost a year & it's only been out of the box once! it was a disaster so i put it right back in the box and there it sits! i don't know what i did wrong, but i was just so frustrated.

First, pick something easy. Like tag.
Then, make sure you are using the right paper for your settings. Don't be using a pretty patterned paper that is thin if your blade is at 5 and pressure is at 4. It'll be a very ugly sight. And yes, that is first hand experience.
A light weight cardstock seems to work the best on the new mats. Once the mats start to loose their sticky though, then the slick cardstock does some really neat sliding stuff and who knows what you will end up with. Ask PN96, she's seen it too.

Any way, pick a day and time and we will do this together via the phone. I have some minutes on my cell plan, so it won't cost a fortune to walk you through it.

Once you do it a few times, and remember about the paper & pressure, it goes pretty easy. Although I totally admit to getting really mad at my bug when it was tearing up my good paper. But it was user error. Not the bug's fault.
