Hi all, well my DD and i stayed at PP for 4 nights the second week of January. here are a few thoughts.
Best things:
the rooms were nice and large, and very quiet. Even though we had neighbors we never heard them. We enjoyed ordering room service breakfast a few mornings. It was prompt, good and pretty reasonable. the on site store was large and had a nice selection. We also liked the pool. Plain but easy to get to , lots of towels and quiet. The very best thing was the private entrance to paradise pier.
Worst things:
Well, the location was pretty bad. I think it is a quicker walk to the harbor blvd motels....and you don't have to get through the scary looking teens at DD to get there ! Actually when we cut through the GC, it was much nicer. The resort had no Disney feel. The service was pretty bad, the bell hops etc pretended we didn't exist. They never even spoke ! No one addressed us ever except for when we checked in.
In the future i would either wait till i could afford the GC, or stay cheap at a motel.
