My (Positive) experience with a wait list

I wait-listed for 8 nights at Boardwalk for May 22-29. 2 BR, STANDARD view. I called about 1 week after the 7 month window opened for the final night. I didn't have time to do the day-by-day calls.

I received confirmation about 6 weeks later.

The DVC wait lists have always worked out well for me.

I'm thinking that people may be checking out the SSR, leaving other rooms available.

I called two days ago for a studio at VWL for middle of March and couldn't get it ro any studio at DVC resorts at Disney. Went on wait list for first studio that comes up. Got one in two days at VWL. Now I am waitlisted for a one bedroom at Vero the middle of March. Hope that comes through that fast. It does seem to be worth a try.
