My pointsetta (sp) plant is still alive, Should I

plant it outside or will it die next winter?
This is the longest I've ever kept one alive. I've seen them growing in people's yards around here on the Cape. They get huge. What do you think?

It'll live the summer, but once it gets cold it will die. I think they only survive outside year 'round in the South.

My Mom has one that is still alive. She keeps it inside though.

Yup - inside for the northeast. They can live quite long if they are repotted into a larger pot and placed into a sunny nook by a window.
