I was told that if you join my points that you can earn vouchers for meals at Disney. Anyone ever hear of it? I have been doing it for a while and haven't seen any.

I also do mypoints. I think what you have to do is trade your points in for web certificates and you can use those to purchase disney dollars or I believe you can get a gift certificate type thing good anywhere.

I have never seen anything about vouchers.

Maybe they were just talking about joining mypoints and then signing up for the 30 day trial for $1 with connections to buy the meal vouchers?

The only thing i know of for sure you could use towards disney that you can redeem points for are rainforest cafe gift certificates and web certificates you can use like a mastercard if you pay for them to send you an actual plastic card.

I actually traded mine in and got three one day passes to Universal studios. It was great fun!

You actually get vouchers that can be used at a large number of Universal properties, etc. There was a whole list - you just give them to the person at the window where you pay to get in and she gives you a one day pass. I think it was 6000 points - I had been accumulating for a while so it was fun to use them.

Can the one day pass be used at both parks? Can you spend the morning at IOA then hop over to US in the afternoon?

I had no idea these passes were offered. I've been using my points to get Rainforest Cafe GCs.

I think I'll start working on the Universal passes now. I wonder if I can get 4 passes by December.

They are 1-day 1-park passes. You either can do IOA or USF but not both.

For those of you looking for them on MyPoints go to Spend Points and click on Music/Entertainment. There's a choice called Universal Tickets. They offer tickets to all kinds of amusement and theme parks as well as ski lift tickets and golf tickets.

For 6,000 points, you can get one 1-day 1-park pass that is good at Universal Studios. They also have SeaWorld and Busch Gardens, Watermania and Gatorland (if you;re interested).

Forgive me, but what is Mypoints?? Is there a link someone can direct me to? I try to be aware of any Disney program, and I haven't heard of this. Secondly, I recently got an email informing me that Disney is coming out with a credit card in March. Do you know of any benefits such as 1 Disney Dollar for every $3 spent with the card, etc.? Any help would be appreciated.

Just go to www.mypoints.com This is a site where they send you emails to check out products and do surveys to earn points that entitle you to diffrent options such as Red Lobster $5.00 coupons or cards.

I have the points accumulated for the Universal option, but I was afraid to cash in yet because of expiration dates. Does anyone know if the Universal vouchers have an expiration date? Last time I did the Rainforest cafe gift certificates which are only good for one year (I'll have to use it for the Easter trip).

expiration dates are something i haven't thought about. Thanks for the thought as we are not going back "home" to Disney till Thanksgiving.
