My Points toolbar and using SR

I think I remember that using toolbars can mess up credits with SR. Here is my dilema.

I use SR to do shopping and mainly surveys. I haven't had much luck with offers lately so I'm not considering them a factor here.

I do the paid email clicks with My Points. I got an email saying you could earn points for dowloading the My Points toolbar and doing searches on it.

So, will the toolbar mess with the stuff that I do with SR?

From my understanding, the Mypoints toolbar will override the cookies needed to track your purchase at SR, so it would be as if you shopped through Mypoints.

yup, I remember people having trouble with that before. They would shop through SR for a higher credit or to get the reward they wanted but it would credit on their My Points account.

Just so you know, you can do the searches from the mypoints site and earn points that way. You will not get the points they offer for actually downloading the toolbar, but you can still get the points for the searches.
