My Points question?

I'm new to My Points. When you shop thorough the MP site, how long does it take for the points earned to post? How do you know that will post? What should you do if they do not post?

I belive they can take up to 30 days to post. I recently had an issue with them not posting and crediting me for 3 Cabela orders that were placed. I had to do a lot of leg work and they finally credited me over 1000 points. Keep an eye on your totals and if it seems off, follow up with them. Good luck!

I always save my order confirmation e-mails, in case I need to send a copy to mypoints. They recently had a holiday bonus, where they credited extra points based on how much you spent over a 2 month period. When those points didn't post and I complained, they asked me to tell them how much I had spent through their site during the bonus period. I eventually did get the points credited.

I keep a word file of all my purchases in order according to date.
I list the date, the company, the points I earned, and check them off when they are credited to my account.
I thought I could remember everything, but I found out I couldn't without writing everything down. As soon as I make a purchase I write the info down.

Funny thing about My Points is I have only been properly credited ONCE. That was for a purchase with Overstock that was credited to my account within a few days.
EVERY OTHER purchase I've made via the My Points website or through the My Points emails only get credited after I contact them once a month has gone by.

Example... I purchased something on March 8th via a link in the My Points website. On April 15th the points still weren't credited, so I emailed My Points. The emailed me back on April 18 and credited my account on April 20th.
BUT.. the points are in the pending mode and I won't be able to use them until May 25th.
It's like this all the time.

Sometimes even after the pending date has gone by it hasn't cleared, so I need to email My Points again.

Anyone else have this happen?
I like My Points though. I just wish they were better at crediting purchases.
